Ochako Uraraka is known as a shy individual at UA High School, the prestigious academy where great heroes are trained and graduate.

The invention of instant costumes has become a trend in the hero society, and something that is completely confidential that even the worst villain can't know it's secrets.

Ochako was chosen during one of the instant costume tests, and she sees Izuku Midoriya, a boy whom she had a crush on had also failed to don the instant costume.

It is designed by Mei Hatsume, and some people from I-Island. They named it the Φ (read: faɪ) Instant Costume.

So far the candidates have failed, with the transformation gear declaring that they were errors. Fearing she might not pass as well, Ochako shakily put the belt on, and pushed the 5 button 3 times on the flip phone shaped device before pressing START.

"STANDING BY."

"Henshin!"

And she raised her right arm which's hand is holding the gear, and attached it onto the belt buckle.

"COMPLETE."

Everyone's eyes widened in surprise, and stood back as a bright red light shine through the room. There stood Ochako in her instant costume, that resembles her default hero costume but with a yellow visor, and a pair of antennas.

In the weeks that followed, villain activities were purged with little effort thanks to Ochako and her instant costume. However she felt dominant, as if other people were below her the more she wore that costume.

"Hello Deku-Kun!"

"Ah, Uraraka! Good morning!"

"You've been training again, aren't you? You shouldn't overexert yourself, Deku-Kun!"

"Ah, it's... It's not a big deal!"

"Seriously, Deku-Kun. When someone's worried for you, should you be aware of their feelings?"

"What?" Izuku asked, raising a brow at Ochako's sudden change in tone.

"Wha-- What did I just say?"

"I must've misheard it."

The both of them went to school, and upon reaching the classroom, they greeted their other classmates as Bakugo is seen shouting an ear blistering rant onto Todoroki, who is reading a book.

"Would you mind leaving me alone already?"

"No chance in hell I would! You're acting full of yourself!"

"Isn't that how Todoroki usually feel?" Izuku asked, a single sweat dropped down his forehead.

"Tell me about it... Oh, and more importantly Deku! I need some help with this problem that I've been having trouble solving..."

"Ah, this problem? Well you should just--"

"HEY DEKU, YOU DAMN NERD!"

"Ah! What is it, Kacchan?!"

"Let her figure out the answer her damn self!"

"But Kacchan--"

"No buts, Deku!"

He was about to land a punch onto Izuku, but his wrist was stopped by a much slimmer hand.

And to everyone's surprise, it's Uraraka who caught his wrist.

"Unless you want to end up eating your food through a straw, I advice that you should stay off our business, now apologize to him."

This shook everyone even more. This is the first time Ochako said something like that, assertively. What happened to the shy brunette?

Bakugo tries to get her grip off, but she just tightened it up like a vice. Bakugo begins to hold in the pain as he swears he sees Ochako's scleras blacken before returning to normal.

"What... Are you!?"

"Like I said, Bakugo-Kun... Apologize."

Bakugo hated to admit this, but he had to, or otherwise Ochako can break his hand or even worse, kill him.

"S... Sorry, damn nerd..."

"What was that?"

"Sorry, Deku."

"Good. Now go back to your seat and soak your face up all you like with those tears in your eye, and wish that you are now sucking onto your mother's teats."

Something is definitely wrong with Ochako today. And everyone is worried.

She avoided talking to other classmates other than Izuku, keeping her shy demeanor when they tried to talk to her.

Later on, after school is done for the day, both Izuku and Ochako went to the dorm together.

"Ochako.... No, Don't tell me you're not Ochako."

"What do you mean, Deku-Kun, I'm myself!"

"Could it be you again, Toga Himiko!?"

"Why are you calling that name? Deku-Kun... You do realize right...?"

Izuku sees Ochako tightening her fists, until they turn white.

It was then when an explosion is heard nearby. They hurried out to the smoke caused by the explosion which is from a convenience store being robbed by some low rank villains.

Quickly, Ochako transformed into her instant costume while Deku readied OFA.

"EXCEED CHARGE"

Ochako jumped into the air, and the laser pointer which is attached to her right leg armor shoots out a beam which stuck into the final villain, and widened into a red laser drill.

She then did a flying kick through the drill, and went back out the villain's back.

However instead of subduing him, the villain turned into sand, much to everyone's shock.

The both of the heroes were brought in to the police station for questioning as well.

"So your attack which was meant to subdue him caused him to turn into sand... Hold on, there are similar reports like this."

The officer then handed them a file, which contains info about some being called orphnochs.

"Like the quirk, it's a phenomenon. An Orphnoch is naturally born when a human died but not because of age, but this is a rare occurence. Other way orphnochs are born are when one Orphnoch kills a human by destroying their heart. However it's also a rare occurence for them to turn into orphnochs. When an Orphnoch suffered enough damage during combat they'll die and turn into sand."

"What makes these orphnochs more dangerous to be considered a threat?"

"They believe that they are humanity's evolution into a stronger being, and tend to be dominant to humans."

Ochako raised a brow at the explanation. Now she had to be more wary on the other people around Izuku. They could potentially be orphnochs themselves.

That night, Ochako received a phone call from Mei.

"Yes, Hatsume?"

"Hey Uraraka, I've been wondering why you're the only person who is able to use that instant costume."

"What about it?"

"Me and my team are currently investigating the death of another person who is able to use a gear similar to you, but it's a Chi (X) symbol."

"And...?"

"When we checked her DNA, it matches with an Orphnoch's."

"What?"

"When I tried to get DNA tests from the other people who tried to use that gear you now own, none of them had Orphnoch DNA which is why the belt rejected them."

Ochako's body trembled.

"Ochako? Are you there?"

CRACK

Unconsciously, Ochako tightened her clawed hand into a fist to crush the flip phone she is using to answer Mei's call.

Wait... Clawed?

She looked down at her hands to see that they became clawed, and her skin has bone-white armored plates.

"W... What..."

She then walked over to her mirror to see...

Ochako tried to hold her screaming, but then her blood ran cold as she heard a voice behind her.

"U... Uraraka?"

It was Deku's voice.
