As the three of them waited in what could only be described as a ballroom, V glanced at L. He held a certain amount of concern for her participation in this event. He expected to have to drag her kicking and screaming, so to speak. Either way, it was too late for those sorts of concerns. As they discussed on the way to the manor, the moment The Champion of Life used her blessing on Eika, Him and L would strike, hopefully catching her unaware. According to T, when she revives, she appears a few feet behind her previous position. T was not clear on how he intended to kill her a second time, they simply had to trust him. V was unhappy with the gross amount of "trust" they had to place in the Champion of Evil recently, but he had to do this. He had to revive Eika. "Oh! That girl is quite dead, and for that matter so are her clothes, and yours!" A voice that alternated between disgust and haughtiness emanated from a nearby doorway. Standing in said doorway was a rather ostentatious woman, draped in silk clothing. It was a rather spectacular sight, every piece of her outfit appeared to be silk, even the stitching. Hues of green and blue ran though her outfit, matching her green hair and eyes. The woman walked toward them, seemingly unconcerned by both Evil and L, who was still not hiding her Champion Class.

"Hello lovely! I trust you have not ruined the lives of too many farmers or merchants recently?" T made a sweeping bow as he welcomed the Champion of Life into the room. She spoke, giving T's statement little head "There can be only one sane reason you brought a dead girl into my home. I assume you want her put back the way she is supposed to be? I normally would be happy to, but I have had a long day, so it’s going to cost you. After this, I will no longer owe you for your... assistance." T nodded, "Of course! The revival of this girl is very important to my plans. I simply must have it done as soon as possible." The woman's expression flickered for a moment, although V could not tell exactly why, he hoped she had not caught on to what was going on. "Fine fine, put the girl on the ground, I'll handle her revolting condition." V shrugged and placed Eika's body on the stone floor, as he did so he realized that Eika's clothing and leather armor would probably not survive this event. As the woman lazily walked toward Eika's body, V wondered if she was walking slow on purpose, according to T, there was only a few minutes until her blessing reset for the hour. Although, the woman showed no fear, if anything, her expression and bearing was one of supreme confidence. Perhaps being able to revive yourself over and over would, in fact, result in an overblown sense of self-assurance. Regardless, the Champion of Life stood over Eika's body, examining it for a few moments. V was trying his best to stay relaxed, normally it was not difficult for him to bluff his way through things, but this entire plan was based on a lot of hope and supposition, the only thing they could count on was T's planning and knowledge of the woman.

As she examined the girl, she spoke to V "The girl does not have anything on her like a dragon's tooth or something right?" V was unsure why she was asking him, as she had no reason to even really address him, but he shook his head, "No, I don't think so." The Champion of Life pursed her lips, "I would search her myself first but I certainly do not have the energy to touch something that dead right now. Just know, I’m going to be very upset if she is carrying something that turns into something that destroys my house." V supposed that was a valid, if interesting concern. "Well time to get this disgusting sack off my floor." She raised her hands over Eika's body, in a single moment Eika was standing up, alive a few yards in front of the champion, and also naked. Two cows, and a handful of plants littered the floor around her. A small insect landed on one of the flowers, and a strange dust cloud had settled onto the floor, there was also a tree. In that moment, V activated his ability, focused slash, and swung toward The Champion's head. He had his agility attribute set to A, he was hoping that, combined with focus slash would allow him to move fast enough to take her by total surprise. From his peripheral vision, he saw L attempt a similar strategy, however the moment she grabbed the hilt of her sword, her movement stopped, seemingly frozen, and she toppled over. V felt something sting the back of his neck, but it failed to stop his slash, in a single movement he decapitated the Champion of life.

"I would not have expected someone to be resistant to my paralytic allies. Not just resistant, you seem entirely unaffected!" The Champion of life spoke from a few yards behind her decapitated body, which had disappeared a moment after her head separated from her body. "Either way, you will not be resistant to this..." as she spoke, a small swarm of bugs flew from her silken clothing. Visually, they looked like locust, with large mandibles. V backed up, assuming those were going to attack him, this would indeed be a problem. L still seemed paralyzed at the moment. As V considered the situation, he suddenly remembered that T was supposed to be somewhere in the room as well. As that thought struck him, he realized that T must have manipulated their attentions somehow, making is presence seem unimportant. It would explain why the Champion of Life started talking to him instead of T... As he tried to put that together, and think of a way to deal with the bugs, one of the massive crystal chandeliers broke away from the ceiling, the one directly above the Champion of Life. She jumped backward, but not far enough; pieces of broken crystal tore into her as she stumbled backwards toward the door she had entered. However, as she turned to retreat, leaving the bugs to deal with V, she ran directly into T. He was, apparently, waiting for her to retreat through the door, himself having retreated at some point. As V was poorly attempting to fight off a swarm of man-eating bugs, he realized that T might be much more powerful and much more dangerous than he first believed. If he could erase his presence and slip away so easily and completely as he did a moment ago, he would be difficult to ever catch, or find for that matter, should he not wish to be found. Was all that done by his blessing, if so, why did he not feel it activate? Or did his class play a role? Either way, at the moment V had other problems.

T grabbed the Champion of Life's arm, after a few moments of struggle, she simply... stopped breathing. T started to let forth a cry of victory, when her body vanished. "What?... no. There is no way!" T cursed and drew a small dagger he hid on his person. "Did you really think after all these months I would not have gotten any stronger? Unless you have a third ambush set up for me, I'm afraid your planning was inadequate." The Champion of Life was standing back inside of the ballroom, almost on top of the crystal rubble. A new cloud of locusts issued forth from her clothing, toward T. "Two champions at once!" She looked at V a moment "Actually, he is probably a champion as well. Three kills in under an hour! This should be worth all the trouble of baiting you into believing your plan would work! Did you really think I was stupid enough to not wonder why you hung around me for so long?" As she gloated, V glanced at L, she was seemingly starting to regaining the ability to move. The bugs biting V hurt quite a bit, but the actual damage was minimal. If he had to guess, they were supposed to poison him. He slowly tried to advance on the Champion of Life. V apologized to T in his mind, he was going to have to try and kill her, or else all three of them would be in trouble. However, as he crept toward her back as she gloated, L through gritted teeth, managed to cry out. "Stop! don't... close... wrong... the floor." He paused, whatever she was trying to see seemed to escape V's notice, but he trusted L's battle sense more than his own.

"You don't understand! You will never be allowed to win! So many champions desire your blessing, however, I need it! There is something I must do before this game is over. You cannot win! Just let go!" T searched for a solution to the situation as he spoke to the Champion of Life. "I am sure they do! My blessing is wondrous after all! Just look, three of you will soon be dead. No matter how many of us try to kill me, I cannot die! I will never be allowed to die!" A crazed look had come over the Champion of Life's face. This was bad, T had seen this before. She was about to summon a creature that no one in the room had any chance of defeating. T cursed as he decided that this was a lost cause, he hated to leave when he had gotten so close, but it was time to make his exit. "Well, you have fun, I’ll just be-" as he spoke, a spear erupted out of the Champion of Life's chest. She weakly grabbed the spear as her legs twitched "W..who?...wha..t?" were the last words spoken by the woman, her body was lifted off the ground as she slid partially down the spear's shaft. T stood there in utter shock. His chance had been stolen from him. By who? It took a moment, but he realized too late who had done it. His chance was ruined, her death was stolen from him.

From behind the dead champion, V had jumped backward, crashing into Eika, who had apparently just been standing there the whole time. From the Champion of life’s shadow, a spear had erupted and had impaled her. A moment after, an entire being rose out of her shadow. After a few seconds, the black mass formed the shape of an elf. Blue short cut hair, thin frame, his face was covered with a mask covered in intricate patterns. V struggled to right himself, and stop Eika from falling, L was struggling to drag herself to her feet. On the opposite side of the newcomer, T stood, rage, loss, and hate burned in his eyes. A sudden status message popped up, displaying itself to V, and by everyone else's sudden reactions, to them as well.

For a moment, everyone in the room looked at each other in confusion. Then T started laughing "Oh how devilish! I suspect that was a clever way around the rules!" His face grew harsh, his gaze cutting the air. "Your certainly dead now! You might have stolen my kill, but I at-least can live happy knowing you will shortly be dead." V quickly pieced the situation together in his head and nodded. If this was sent to every single champion, which it appeared as if it had been, it was basically painting a giant target on this champion’s back. For the first time the newcomer spoke. "Tch, damn him... No matter. With a sixth letter I have been granted something rather nice. And once I finish the rest of you off, it will be difficult for the other champions to stand before me!" The Champion of Darkness swung his spear, winging the dead body of the Champion of Life against the wall. "Now, to deal with the rest of you!" T took a step back and called out across the room "Uh, I would recommend running away. His class has changed. He is no longer a Divine Weapon-Master, His class now reads as "Demigod Weapon-Master." Interesting, V figured that the class change was probably the "Something rather nice" he had referred to. However, the situation was extremely poor. Eika was just standing there blank eyed, he had taken quite a lot of surface damage from the bugs, who died when Life died, T was... unreliable at best, and had also taken some bug-based damage. Out of all of them L was arguably doing the best, as she had only been paralyzed and was quickly recovering. However, if the Champion of Darkness killed at least six other champions, he wondered if the three of them would be able to stand up to him even if they were tip top shape. He wondered if he should just abandon this whole thing and run. But he shook the thought from his head, Eika was counting on him, L was counting on him. However.... what could he possibly do? Suddenly, a blessing activated, although V had no idea where it was coming from. He suspected this was about to become the center of the "war zone" that T had mentioned.

The Blessing of Rulership has been activated!
The Champion of Rule has declared a bounty on the Champion of Darkness!
The Rewards for killing or forcing the surrender of the Champion of Darkness has been doubled!

The Champion of Darkness made another disapproving noise, as T's expression grew ever more joyous. "It seems I will have to be quick." His speed was amazing, he moved toward L and thrust his spear directly at her heart. She drew her weapon, attempting to deflect the blow. If it was not for her first strike ability, the spear would have certainly impaled her. As it stood, she was able to redirect it, causing a large slash across her chest. V grabbed Eika, he was sorry for L but there was no way they would prevail in this situation. As he prepared to retreat with Eika, A shadowy mass detached from Eika's shadow, forming a clone of The Champion of Darkness. However, rather than a spear, it was wielding a sword. "Oh, literal shadow clones. Great." An explosion rocked the manor, and the temperature in the room suddenly spiked. "Oh! Company has finally arrived!" T laughed, sounding a little crazed. At the same time, another blessing activated.

The Blessing of the Dead has been activated!
The Champion of Death has targeted the Champion of Darkness!
The Dead are coming for the Champion of Darkness!

Before anyone could even process what was happening, the Champion of Life's body started crawling toward the Champion of Darkness. At the same time, a ghostly figure materialized in front of him. The Champion of Darkness winced "Ah damn, not you." The moment he said that, the ghostly being started vomiting some form of dark red sludge. T looked in surprise "Oh, you killed the champion of Blood at some point? That is sort of impressive." The situation was now wildly out of hand, and V was trying to come up with a plan. Several more shadow clones had started to materialize, each wielding a different weapon. The one with the sword assaulted V, luckily for him it seemed as if the clones were not as strong as the main body. Even so, V could barely hold the shadow clone at bay, and was taking minor wounds. A clashing sound came from the front of the manor as it shook again. A familiar face barreled into the room, straight through one of the walls. The Champion of War had arrived.
