Before she entered the tavern, Olivia was cool and relax, but as soon as she was inside, her body stiffened, it's because she felt people were staring at her.

The bartender, the locals... even a group of strangers.

"Did... did I enter in the wrong time?"

Olivia couldn't help feeling nervous, this was the first time in her life she received this much attention.

"Olivia, you... you're alive..."

The bartender stopped wiping his plate, stared in a daze.

"Um, thank God?"

Olivia knitted her eyebrows, of course, she's alive, totally fine in fact.

"But... Caeth said... you died..."

"Caeth?"

The young woman startled, then she put her hand below her chin, her eyes titled upward.

"Nope, doesn't ring any bell, why would he or she say that?"

The bartender went into a deeper shock, so did the other people around.

"What are you saying? He is your party member, right?"

"Party member?!"

Olivia startled, then she frowned immediately, shaking her head afterward.

"Since when I have a party, you know I have been soloing for a long time, stop making non-sense!"

Olivia strolled toward the bar place and occupied one of the stool, she wrinkled her eyebrows and swept her eyes toward the surrounding area, forcing people to mind their own business, including Alex and the others.

"The usual please..."

She faced the bartender again and stated her order.

"A-alright..."

The bartender put down the piece of plate in his hand and picked a bottle of beer and wine, he poured the two of them into a stainless cup, covered it with a cap then he shook the cup up and down, lastly poured the content into a wooden mug.

"You are really Olivia, right?"

The bartender placed the mug in front of her, still having a doubt in his face.

"Is there any reason I shouldn't be? Come on, Hammer, do I need to point out how many times you wipe that plate of yours per day?"

"Ok, you don't have to-"

"It's 108 times, 109 if you're really bored."

"Fine, you're Olivia."

Meanwhile, Alex and the others stared at the young woman with inexplicable confusion, her conversation with the bartender had not been insulated, not hard for the rest of the people in the tavern to hear it out.

"Alex, do you think what I am thinking of right now?" Momo mumbled.

"Yeah, it was either she's a doppelganger, or she has a memory loss."

"But it seems like she's only forgetting a recent event, the fact that she knew her house supported the idea, but if she actually went there before, and not to mention she has no trouble navigating her way into this tavern, even knew the bartender and his quirk," Shizuka said.

"Hmm..."

Alex crossed his arms and pinched his chin, there were several types of amnesias, one of them was particularly the inability to remember the past events, whether it was just several months ago, or perhaps even their entire life, for Olivia's case, it seemed the former.

Damage in the brain either through head injury or other else was mostly the fault, but considering the Ygraddasil had cured her completely, what she had likely a physiological wound, they were right, Olivia suffered injury more than Nyantaa.

Because amnesia had no definite cure, most could only give it a few treatments but the result was not guaranteed, this was something Alex struggled to create in the past, and he never succeeded.

"Well, as long it's not too severe, then we shouldn't be worried too much. Shizuka, Damian, I give new mission; keep an eye of Olivia's action and behavior, report if you discover anything new."

"Yes, Alex/ Alright Mr. Star."

Alex moved out from the table and paid the bartender, he stole a glance toward Olivia on the side then after receiving the change, Alex went out, followed by Dick.

"Well, we also need to get going, see you later Shizuka, Damian."

Momo stood up and left the tavern; Jason, Elliot, and Alexis tagged along with her.

Now the table only left Shizuka and Damian, the latter was rather nervous, he never alone with a woman, sure he worked together with Alexis to kill the giant-chicken before, but it was in a battle situation, he couldn't afford to wander his mind.

Now their task was to observe someone, it's not exactly an action-pack task...

"So... the beer tastes nice, right?"

Shizuka wrinkled her eyebrow as she looked at him, then she nudged her head toward the table before facing Olivia again.

Damian set his eyes on the plates and mugs on the table, then he smiled bitterly.

Right, she didn't drink any, what a sort of stupid question was that?

Olivia drank her share of alcohol, had been complaining for several minutes now toward the bartender.

"... I don't know where my stuff was, had been searching around their house and found none, those strangers must have stolen them and sold it to some suspicious trader... I'm gonna sue them... or put an arrow on one of their knees...

...That bow was my father's craftsman... Hammer, how should I tell him when he got back?

I don't even remember when I passed out, last time I checked the day still light and suddenly it was night, my clothes even different... those strangers must have to change it, oh, god know what else they did to me..."

After many minutes of begrudging and swore an oath to teach someone a lesson, Olivia paid her drink and darted out from the bar place, Shizuka and Damian quickly chased her.

Shizuka quickly went into an alley and climbed the first building she found, then she jumped from one to one roof while following Olivia strolled on the street, this left Damian in an awkward situation, he didn't have other methods to tail someone other than carefully followed from behind and hoped for the best.

He somewhat thought why the heck Alex even bother put him up in this kind of task, clearly, Shizuka could do fine by herself.

They saw Olivia carried luggage for an elder, then she went into a house and actually did their laundry, later she mend some girl's knee who got injured, she stumbled as she ran with her friends and fell on the ground.

Eventually, Olivia's direction headed toward the front gate of the town, assumingly headed back toward her house because she didn't appear prepared for a hunt.

"Alex, what course of action should we take?"

(***)

"Find out where she lives but do not alarm her; if she discovers you, just tell her that both of you are hunters from the outside and currently seeking for someone who familiar with the local monsters..."

"Alright," then Shizuka's voice disappeared.

Alex and Dick continued to walk into Baba's resident, apparently, her true nature of work hid behind a cover of a fortune teller, only a handful of people from Eldorado Town knew about this, and they were certainly not commoners.

"Mr. Star, what do you think of this Baba? I mean, what she looks like?"

Alex thought for a while, the word 'Baba' back on Earth had a lot of meaning, from a cute call for a baby to a respected form of address toward an elderly person.

Yet he couldn't help but remember the old and short woman from [ Dragon Ball ] franchise, she also a fortune teller and somewhat Roshi's sister.

Considering the coincidence of similarity between them, perhaps this Baba they about to meet was not much different.

"Don't you ever heard the name 'Baba' back on your world?"

"Eh?"

Dick gathered his forehead and pondered hard, he couldn't remember clearly but someone from his battalion perhaps had mentioned this name before.

Not long after, Alex and Dick saw a long line of people in front of a strange building; it had a pale blue wall and a purple-colored roof with several stars marked its surface.

Two fierce-looking warriors barred the path of these people from going through the golden double-leaf doors, compared to Alex and the rest of them, the muscle of these warriors resembled a WWE's cast, he wondered who these two protected.

"Wait, Mr. Star, this is the building... look!"

Alex saw a white plaque, inscribed in distinguish carving style.

'Baba; The Magnificent Fortune Teller!'

He couldn't help but dropped a sweat, why it sounded like a circus performer's name?

Looking at the long line of the men, Alex thought that Baba's fortune teller was a huge flunk, he heard from Mary that her advice was nothing magical, for example; a man went to her and asked whether he could be rich in the future, she would say 'You will if you work harder...'

That's... something everybody knew... you didn't need a fortune teller to say it to you.

Of course, simply worked harder didn't really make you rich, you needed to be smarter, more skilled in your field, more knowledge, practice, resource, literally everything... work harder was just one of the requirements.

Therefore he was confused, why these men seemed excited to get their fortune read? Or maybe they were those who knew the real nature of Baba's work?

Nevertheless, Alex and Dick waited behind the line, after a few minutes, they saw a man came out from the building with a satisfied expression, no... satisfied it's not enough to describe the heaven-blessed appearance the man's bore, his hand carried a something.

They waited about half an hour before finally at the foremost line, the eyes of these WWE-looking men were threatening and fierce, their hands as if could choke Alex's neck with no trouble.

A man came out from the building, he somewhat holding his nose and shivering, what the heck he asked to read inside?

"You, come in!"

One of the guards said, his silver-like armor glistened under the glare of the sun.

Alex and Dick stepped into the building, but the guard immediately pushed out his big hand, forbade them from continuing onward.

"Just one of you, no companion!"

"He is my guard, and I am not exactly here for fortune-telling."

"Yeah? Then what's your purpose here? I remind you, no refund!"

The guard squinted his eyes, coldly looking at him and Dick.

"Well, a little bird needs to know something, so, he wishes to ask the great Baba..."

This was a secret phrase Nuon had told him, and sure enough, the guard's expression slightly changed, although subtle, his manner toward Alex and Dick became polite, quick he let the two of them entered the building.

It was dark... that was his first impression of the room, there were several candles around with red curtains draping from the ceiling, in front of them, was a short table, covered in a white thin cloth, a sphere beautiful crystal located above it.

"Welcome customer, what future you wish for me to read? Love problem? Wealth? Maybe... something more private..."

What creature waited behind the crystal instantly bubbled Alex and Dick's blood to the top of their head, this no in any sort of way was a short and old woman, or even creepy-looking person, instead, a lady, with a mature flavor all over her smooth skin, deep line between her perky twin mounds, and curvacious line of waist, her stomach was flat as if an airplane runaway, hair tied in a ponytail, revealing a long fair neck akin to a swan.

She had all kinds of accessories, from two crystals under her ears, tiara on the top of her head, diamond-embedded necklaces rested on her chest, pearl-bangle wrapped her wrists... Alex was sure she wore more below the upper torso...

No wonder most of the people who lined up were men, and when they came out, pleasure as if written all over their faces.

Dick instantly brought down his hand to cover his male part, then he threw his sight away, oh kami, thank you for the gift, now die I would not file a complaint...

The woman giggled upon seeing Dick's reaction, she probably loved to tease men like this.

But when she saw Alex though, the man indeed was staring, but... there was actually discontent in his eyes, this made the woman also wrinkled her eyebrows, by the appearance, Alex was not old man who had become virtuous or sage, he's not even much older than her, what made him so dissatisfied?

"Customer, you may gawk all you want, but you certainly aren't here for that, yes?"

Alex coughed a bit before smiling slightly toward her.

"I am here because a little bird needs to know something..."

"Did you now?"

The woman closed her eyes, then the long eyelashes flapped, staring at Alex a bit from she nodded and presented her hand toward the side of the room.

Immediately, a secret door swung open, a portion of light sneaked inside the room.

"Please carry on through the gate, then walk on the stairs and enter the only room up there."

Alex tarried a while before he and Dick proceeded, it's a small hall with one window in front of them, on the left was a 15 steps staircase, they climbed one after another, the dull sounds reverberated as their shoes collided against the wooden floor.

The next room was also had a golden door, Alex grabbed the handle and pushed it slightly, it's pretty much empty except for one chair, but at least it's not dark at all, in fact, it's super bright in here.

From the head part of the room, another person showed up, she wore a long piece violet dress that revealed the middle part of her chest, her hair was arranged in a weird, gaudy style with gothic-like makeup had been applied on her face.

Alex knew this was the same woman downstairs, although their appearance was different, their body outline was the same, but how could she change so quickly? Using magic?

The woman strolled toward the chair and sat on it, her long legs toppled one another as she opened the fan in her hand.

"Since I never met you, and even though you have known already, I will say this again, the cheapest information cost 10 golds, which involve any general thing that going around the southern part of the Moonlight Continent, the more specific the information you need, it will cost you more and the further it is from the southern part of the Moonlight Continent, it will cost you more, there is no negotiation over this."

"Now then, what information you wish to know?"

Her tone was impolite, borderline arrogant, she resembled a dominatrix who stepped upon the dignity of many people.

"..."

She looked at Alex, most of the men who appeared in this room would shiver, at least dripped a cold sweat once at the present of her, but this man didn't seem to budge at all.

By his attire, this man should be a mage, a powerful one perhaps?

"You know Ms. Baba, wait, is that your real name?"

She didn't respond to him, merely gazed coldly.

"Well, I will continue to call you Ms. Baba then, ahem, I would love to pay for your information, but I think it's a little pricey..."

"No negotiation, the price had been set in stone!"

"And yet stone could be crushed, anyway, I know it's impossible to ask a discount, therefore, I have thought about a bet-"

"Not interested; if you can't afford, then get lost!"

Baba snorted, Alex was not the first to haggle a price with her, eventually, anything they offered was not worth her attention.

"Oh, I can afford you fine..."

Alex waved his hand, immediately a mountain of golds appeared right in the room!

Baba startled, almost jumped out from her seat, where the creep all of this money came from?!

The sum of this... even the biggest space bag couldn't contain all of them... how...

Alex picked one gold and threw it toward Baba, the latter caught it with her hand, could feel the texture of the gold, knew this not an illusion.

Afterward, Alex took back the mountain of golds into the system, leaving one gold which currently in Baba's hand.

"You interested in the bet now?"

"..."

Baba complicatedly looked at Alex, then she nodded slightly.

"It's simple, I believe a person like you who own the biggest network of information in Moonlight continent, maybe whole Fantasia, definitely nothing you don't know about..."

"True, we are proud of our ability, we know a little bit something about something, some may have no idea about."

Baba appeared a little smug, Alex smiled faintly before he took something out of the system.

"Great, the rule is simple, I will show you three items, you got the first one right, you can have that mountain of golds, but if you fail, you give me 50% discount, then if you got the second one right, you can have a half of the mountain of golds, but if you still fail, you give 80% discount, lastly, you knew the third item, you can have one-third of the golds, but if you fail, I have 90% discount, deal?"

Baba went silent for a while, although she was confident, she shouldn't rule out the possibility she might lose, the consequence was too much for her to handle.

"No, how about 30, 40, and 50% discount?"

"Rejected, 50, 60, and 70, that's my last offer!"

Alex and Baba stared into each other, the matured woman knitted her eyebrows, tried to find Alex's weakness and a loophole within the bet.

"Fine, but that item, must at least, presented in the public, or at least several people who had no relation with you know about it!"

She had to erase the chance for this man to cheat, for example; the item he will show was the item he created by himself, that was pretty much cheating since nobody else knew about it other than him.

"Counter proposal, that only applied to the second and third item, the first one worth that kind of mountain of golds, you think 50% discount is too much to ask?"

Looking at the helplessness on Alex's face, Baba frowned a bit, true that 50% of discount wasn't comparable to a mountain of golds...

Even if she lost, she had the chance to earn half or one-third of it, and it's enough to cover the loss.

"Fine, I agree, show me the item!"
