Imagine that someone prepares a party for you in a place you like, you shouldn't know it, but you distrust your friends, then the surprise won't have the same impact if you already knew it because you were distrustful.
I could have had Kuro get his body earlier? yes, but the development was vital.
There is a reason why Kuro and Rei ended up meeting each other? there is, and I won't tell you that because it will be a spoiler of the ending and I won't tell you that for anything in the world!
Okay, thanks for letting me know. I’m not terribly fond of dual MC novels, and that is why I asked, because signs were pointing to him experiencing even the romance secondhand, and that kind of set-up would just not be my thing.
Ah I see, usually my novels focus on MC and co-MC, there will always be that.
