i just combed through world 4 of tortoise and fox, and discovered i misplaced a chapter... it was entirely missing from the arc 
it has been published and is titled "4.3B". please go give it a read! it had very important expository information--such as the introductions to side characters, the Beijie kingdom, and set up for Amari's character arc. im very sorry for somehow missing this. the story will make much more sense now

hi everyone! chapter 3.26 of tortoise and fox had about half its chapter (800 words) missing due to my error. it had an important scene with alyssa and fen'ra (since they have few and inbetween scenes), a cute elijah-aisultan scene, and an interesting reveal of lore . ack. i have fixed it now, so feel free to peruse it!
