Chelsie Uche Louis has published several short stories and poems with local publications in her country. She also has a certificate in English Language from the University of Cambridge. Born in the chaotically beautiful streets of Lagos, she is a twenty-six years old humanitarian and English scholar—the first of four children raised by a single mother—who strongly believes that your country of origin, the color of your skin, or your financial conditions, should not determine your intellectual and creative ability. That is why she teaches creative writing to budding authors in her country who are not able to afford taking such courses on their own.
When she is not writing poetry, creating a new painting, working on her book, or researching and learning about countries, cultures and its people, due to her peculiar fascination for places and geographical locations, Chelsie Uche Louis is self-studying Modern Literature and working towards a Masters Degree at a prestigious university.
