I just realized that the innocuous name for your novel actually comes from this famous quote from a German philosopher;
He who fights with monsters might take care lest he thereby become a monster. And if you gaze for long into an abyss, the abyss gazes also into you.
This actually reflects how seemingly innocuous the novel is compared to how it's actually pans out in the end.
Nietzsche or however you spell it
This is actually referenced and quoted in the novel (I want to say book 2.)

Where do the chapters pick up from
I first thought this was only in book form. I finished book 3 and shortly after googled the ending to try to find something that explained it and came across this site. About 300 chapters later I’m here and it was one hell of a ride. Please keep this up, I’m looking forward to it.

Dude, it was definitely a bad decision to sell out to Amazon so early, though. Your novel is worth way more than whatever you were offered then- unless of course they gave you an island. Always take the island deal, because although they know it's a white elephant you can just resell the island, and then you get the last laugh.
Found the series through audible and it has been a joy to say the least. Heath Miller does a fantastic job at bringing your words to life, in my opinion. I am too impatient to wait until September for the audio book 3. I have ordered the print version off Amazon. I'm not sure if the chapters posted on here pick up after book 2 or not. Either way, I am stuck, awaiting for an outcome to my question, what's next. Ty for sharing the story.

I got the audio book. Loved it.the narrator is fantastic. Then I saw here, I feel very late to the party. I'm planning to get the kindle book, and already pre ordered book 2.

He's an Australian, which means no cringy fake Australian accent, thankfully. Right now there is only an ebook and audiobook planned, not print, but in the future, who knows?

Hello, I’m currently in the chapter 221 and it seems to me you forgot about Jason’s sword(the one he received from Gary). The party was getting ready for going to Bronze rank(buying equipment, getting ingredients for re-summoning familiars, getting materials for evolving growth items), even though the sword was a growth item it wasn’t mentioned in the preparations.
Ps: This is not a complaint, I’m simply trying to help you since your story has a lot of things to keep track of.
