I doubt that's the reason, otherwise you wouldn't have had others saying otherwise. When I get a chance, I'll read your work and see what's the deal.
I hope it doesn't disappoint but it's not strange to get bad ratings, I've had plenty of them on all the books I've written, it doesn't matter that much.
I like the way you look at things and I'm glad you still continue to write :)
