Began to read your series with high hopes, only to be disappointed because it's the pov of a side-character...
And so i need a little spoiler to make me decide if i should continue to read it or not.
Does Sigulf (MC) get to have his own romance ? If he is just like the friend of MC in Clannad that doesn't get any girl i think i will not read it. If yes to romance i hope it's not "The really pretty and popular girls/FLs that couldn't be together with MC fell for Sigulf".
He does, though I don't really get the 2nd part of your question.
I meant : If you do say : "Yes there is romance for him" i hope the girl(s)/woman(women) that will be together with him are not the "females that tried to get into a relationship with the japanese boy (MC) but didn't succeed" (i don't want for Sigulf to become some kind of second choice as it kinda will looks like they don't really love him and became together because they were heart broken and not lucid).

As i like side-characters of stories getting their romance, having the pov of Silgulf will maybe be interesting. I also hope that i will enjoy your story.
