Actual legit brain damage and basically a cat. I write yuri only, will probably always feature a trans character as mc or love interest. I lean into a lot of genres and have a lot of harebrained ideas, but general mainstays are action and romance through a variety of settings. I do one book at a time, strictly, both so I don't get distracted, and because having the ongoing project and self-imposed deadlines actually help me write. Last, if my writing seems weird sometimes, well for one thing I am weird, but also brain damage notably impacted my ability to write, and while I am recovering to some extent, these books are both the product and process of that, which will lead to some mess, especially with being entirely self-edited.
Oh yeah I should post here again, no big updates yet unfortunately, still actively working on it, but it took until recently to actually feel most of the way better. My sleep cycle got completely ruined by coughing and pain so I'm currently trying to get that under more control and get well rested again, but I have at least started being able to write properly again.
Turns out, I was Not Recovered. the worst most debilitating bit of the fever did end back then, but in hindsight i dont think it actually fully stopped it just went intermittent after leaving me in bed for five days. as it stands, more than a week now after onset of symptoms im still dealing with a litany of issues. if im not literally dead i will finish this damn story eventually, hopefully before my birthday end of next month, but i can no longer reasonably make any timeline promises.
Came down with a bad illness, went to the doctor today after it got really rough with breathing issues over the prior night, and I tested positive for influenza type b. They gave me some meds to alleviate symptoms, and were hopeful that I would recover soon given usual timeframes. I've lost at least five days of productivity but I'm hopeful I won't be delayed much more than that in the grand scheme of things.
Officially swapping into a working hiatus, my health is returning slowly, and I've gotten a bit done, but I have decided that I'm not going to update until I have the next two chapters done. On the bright side, that will be essentially four chapters, two proper, two smaller interims, but no promises on timeframes. Hopefully late this month or early next month.
Alright, having a small health problem, nothing to worry about, but also nothing that will let me be very productive for a bit. I will keep working in the background, but the schedule is shot for the moment.
Strongly hate to say it, but I should at least give some heads-up: I'm having a bit of a flareup of health issues and unfortunately a chapter this week won't really be very possible. Based on normal expectations I should usually be back at it by next week.
