I'm someone that likes making stories but tends to not have confidence it their work. I decided to finally get out of my shell and put my stories out there for everyone to read. I'm also hoping this will increase my motivation as I generally lose it after finishing a story because I always felt it was a waste of time since no one would be reading it anyways. I know I'm no where near the level that a publisher would consider but if there are even a few people out there that enjoy what I've written I think it will help my motivation massively.
I tend to favor fantasy, but want to expand my horizons by writing sci-fi.
It's been a while since I've posted anything, so I thought I should let everyone know that I will not continue "Tamana." It's partly because I don't have as much reliable writing time as I used to and partly because I feel like I'm at the point where I can no longer improve my writing going the way I have. I've never had any confidence in my writing so have almost never let anyone help proof read or beta read what I've written, Salis being the only exception.
I think this has stunted my growth as a writer and until I change this; I feel like I won't ever write anything more than just mediocre.
I'm going to look into writing groups, but with my limited time I can devote to hobbies, let alone writing I can't promise anything. If I do release something, it will most likely be a new work as it's just been to long since I've done anything with "Tamana" and I'd want to restart it even if I did. I'm thinking steam punk or something of the like might be fun.
Did you intend to put "Starship Reincarnator" and not "Spaceship Reincarnator" as the related series for "Tamana"?
I noticed there is no more Starship Reincarnator on my new chapters list. Have you halted writing? Will it continue?
Finished, but don't have time to edit. The chapter ended up being over 7k words long.

Editing 7k words takes a long time... Should post it officially tomorrow.
Couple spots with an incorrect usage of a word. Ex. four instead of for. Spacing near the end is weird - see full page gap mid sentence. Otherwise a pleasant read. Are you cut and pasting from MS Word? That might explain the funky gap.
Funny, I thought I fixed the gap. I'm using ProwritingAid so I wonder if that could cause it, because they appear after I use it for editing. The spacing at the end might be because I copied and modified some text from the first version of the story.
Thanks for the feedback, I'll give it one more run through to get the stuff you mentioned, then post the first two chapters tonight.

Also going to rename "Salis" and break the chapters into smaller pieces. Stay tuned!
I'm thinking of commissioning some art for a cover for my story "Salis" in hopes that it will bring more attention. Should I do this or is it not worth it?
Scribble Hub really needs to fix the fact that you can give your own story ratings. Since no one else was giving my story a rating I did it myself... Of course I'm gonna make it five stars! It's my baby and I'm gonna give it the best I can, because I want a happy baby.
Thanks to all those who favorited my story. Still no comments on any of the chapters. I'd love to hear what anyone has to say about my story, whether it be about how much you like it to any mistakes I've made.
