Soooo I'm a trans girl. Some part of me knew as far back as my earliest memories but that was not possible in my youth during the 80's in a conservative Province and I recognized it early enough to build an armoured eggshell of pure invincible to keep myself safe.

It was xmas '23 of all days when it finally felt safe enough to recognize what I'd spent decades hiding from myself and it clicked. I owe a lot of thanks to authors here (massive shoutout to PurpleCatGirl, QuietValerie, Trashlynn, and KristenOfTheCoven above all others) for helping me realize everything (and writing such great stories that sucked me in and kept telling me to stop hitting myself), and then holding my hand as I stumbled around. I'm still stumbling but I can walk now and that's something.
