Okay so, I've had it. Why do some people on this site feel the need to act as if I was beholden to upload stuff for them? I am SO close to saying fuck it and stop uploading my things permanently.

Not that I agree with the idea. As an author myself I know how hard it can be writing things for people.
However, I suspect it comes from a percieved transaction. They invest time and enjoyment into a story, with the expectation that at some point it will be finished, while the author invests time and passion into a story because of their own reasons.

Now, the time commitment is vastly unequal, but for people who don't write it's hard to see that. They think "I'm involved in this thing just like you are. Why aren't you trying to finish it like I want?" and they don't necessarily mean it in a paritcularly nasty way, but it can be easy to forgot how hard writing can be sometimes.
The first chapter of Godslayer can now be read as an interlude in Eldritch!
