A new prologue involving Earth for Vol. 1 of "Beastkin of GRIM" is now available. An extra chapter (4) is also available with some early chapters receiving improvements. To reiterate, it isn't entirely necessary for current readers since some content will be mentioned later. Most edits/changes are to improve the story, further enhance reader experience and to fix any minor discrepancies. The story is also now called "Hovestile Project: Beastkin of GRIM."

Doing the rework stuff in Book 1 at the moment for "Beastkin." I realized that some information would be pertinent when introducing readers to a world: the System, some spell usage, etc. etc. I have been sprinkling this in to build into Book 2. Again, some of this will be mentioned in later writing. Also, a new prologue concerning Earth. Once I have that done I can work in conjunction with newer content. Also, some new artwork on the way for official book cover. Yayz for that.

It started with many different intentions based on trends and what was popular, but it always started shifting more towards what I wanted to convey in an epic fantasy setting.

Chapters are also done when they are done. I won't drive myself crazy with the editing like I did before, but I need to at least have some satisfaction that I presented what needed to be there with little to no glaring mistakes.

All that said, thank you again for the support you've shown. I always appreciated it deeply.

But I am in a better mental state now. I also understand what I want to do with my work. I have been working on a project little by little during my free time that is not intended as a webnovel. After receiving some good advice I started putting my main story, “Beastkin of GRIM,” through a bit of an overhaul. I want to keep the multiple point of views and go deeper into some of the more complex details.

There is always that thought in the back of my mind about trying to stay relevant. There was also this constant need to change what I wrote just because a single individual didn't like a directional choice or didn't figure something out. It was always constant thoughts of, “This can be better” or “What did I do wrong?”

So for those of you still around, and for those who left all those words of encouragement, I apologize for my absence.

I dropped out of here unintentionally for a bit and just simply...never came back. Some of it was the usual going through a rough patch in life and wondering what I really wanted to do with my work. But honestly, I was just really tired.

I set unrealistic deadlines alongside all the over-editing and research I did for my main story. I thought making promises would push me to get content out and not think about it so much, but it only added to the stress.

Alright, so, it has been quite some time. Hope everyone is doing well. With how long it's been I expect many changes have occurred for everyone: finding new interests, jobs, moving on from webnovels altogether and such.
I figured it was only right to post something, even if it has to be brief due to word count here. I'll leave it at a few posts.

Vol. 3 Chapter 6: The Assassin is now available for "Beastkin of GRIM."

Vol. 3 Chapter 5: Canted Hourglass is now available for "Beastkin of GRIM." Another chapter is ready to be uploaded the following day. I am going to do my best to get back on track after being sick. Schedule is still all over the place since I edit a lot and I let chapters stew for a bit.

Delays from me as usual. Unfortunately, this time due to being sick with the Covid for the past week. Actually was positive with this test. Just finally managed to get on here to type something. It hits pretty hard, especially with asthma history. haha. So yeah, delays for that reason. I didn't think it would last this long, but some people claimed to have it up to two weeks.
