Heya! If you're new to my author's page, welcome! There's a lot of stories here under the "series" tab, so to keep you from getting overwhelmed with choices, I'll put some recommendations in here:
- Penumbra, a queer drama and love story about mental health and aliens living in your head giving you free therapy
- We're Not So Different, You And I, a sci-fi cyberpunk action romance about queer and non-traditional relationships. There's also a talking cat named Mort.
- Among Brighter Stars, a running series in the same style as Star Trek
Honourable mentions:
I believe series sorting has been finally added.
EDIT: Yep, here is the forum request thread, with note that its implemented from @Tony - https://forum.scribblehub.com/threads/change-order-stories-appear-in-on-profile.4888/#post-125142
and they've been appropriately ordered now :3
I was reading through your profile comments and noticed you mentioning a difference between stories that focus on misery and despair versus euphoria, self-expression and self-actualization. Could you elaborate a little bit on the difference between the above two stories? Is it like the protagonist feels there's something wrong with their life, but never ends up transitioning in the former? In the latter, the protagonist already knows or their egg cracks, then they take steps to transition?
A lot of trans stories, especially those in film or popular media, talk about how depressed they are, how bad their body feels, and really centers that dysphoria, often accompanied by harassment, sexual assault, abuse, etc... It focuses on every negative part of being trans, because that's often all cis people see (misery sells) without showing how being trans is good, actually, and can be a source of soul-nurturing joy and happiness.
Cis people literally don't know the joy of walking past a mirror and seeing yourself in it. Not the way we do.
Ohh, okay. I definitely see what you mean by all the mainstream narratives about trans folks. There's just something beautiful when reading about trans joy.
I will soon also be uploading my works to RoyalRoad as Ela_Maxima :)

Just noticed that your birthday was the 21st, so happy belated birthday! Thanks for the great stories ☺️☺️ I love your stories and I hope your birthday was a good one 💕
aww, heck, thank you so much! It was :)
Hello.
That feeling is why I write, if I'm honest. When I was younger, my mother came out as trans as well (it is what it is) and every piece of media she brought home centered misery and despair. It took me years to get away from that and accept myself. Now I want to create the kind of content that would've allowed me to see that being trans, in and of itself, might be hard sometimes, but for me it's a matter of euphoria, self-expression and self-actualization. I'm glad I had the chance to help
will you continue : I didn’t ask to be the Demon Queen ?
One day. For now, I need to get a more stable income, which means publishing stories that attract more readers.
thank you for the reply :)
will there be an update on any other name??
Once I work through my commissions. Paid stories get priority in my schedule, I'm afraid.
Thank you for the recommendations
Sorry for no updates for a lil bit, feeling sick. I'll be back soon <3
i hope you feel better soon
Doing a little AMA on reddit today. Come say hi!
https://www.reddit.com/r/IAmA/comments/nxgucq/i_am_an_independent_author_who_has_built_a_career/
I tried to say hi, but it was auto removed. I just didn't have a question.
It's back up!
Wow. Those are a lot of comments. I'll try to catch up towards the current topic.
Yeah, I wasn't expecting that kind of turnout!
Check out this short story collection (and please retweet/share). I contributed to it, and with 25 stories it's incredibly affordable. Proceeds go to trans authors and charities! #trans #writers #ownvoices #LGBTQIA2021
Really appreciate your writing - I'm halfway through Horns in the Library, which is such a nice story to read as a lesbian trans woman who is still kind of terrified of getting intimate. It's just really helpful to be able to visualize a very sexy, very intimate, and very gay experience between two women where one has similar anatomy to mine and it isn't treated as a joke or gross.
I hope this isn't weird, but again just wanted to say thanks.
It's not weird at all! I'm very glad you like it, and I hope you continue to enjoy it ^_^ The very best of luck with your transition (I can relate) and all the best to you!
hi i followed you here along w quiet valerie, trashlyn, and co. im glad youve got a better space now. tgst did always make me feel a bit weird. i just want soft gay fluff. anyway i love your stories <3
I'm very glad you like them! I'm not planning on stopping any time soon ?
Okay you've dragged me over from the tgst site where I was all comfy with the search and interface. And while that one idiot posting his drivel was easily ignored, I completely understand the frustration of what that person seemed to be doing and how the moderator of the side refused to engage. So I'm happy to follow you and the other writers over here, where you can help teach this b**** some new tricks;-)
I'm glad you're here then ?
