My backup of information finished and that only relieves some of my worries. I'd still be out a computer if it goes. I really need to look into getting a replacement somehow.
My power cut out again yesterday for over ten minutes. Also with no explanation, and it crashed my computer again! UGH!

Geez, yeah that will take a forever. Good thing you are backing up, seen many authors lose everything.
I've lost chapters and even whole stories (like Mach One) when my computer crashed and corrupted the files. It was disheartening, to be sure.
My computer is about 10 years old, so there's no shame for it.
My Pc is 9 years old and still doing everything I need it to do fine. Google docs might be best, if you disconnect for any reason you will have your work saved in cloud.
Oops, almost left you hanging there. I read your comment and missed the blob.
I'd like to get a new PC and have been so out of the loop on tech that it's not funny.

I've got about half of it back and it's not really the good half, because my brain is having trouble matching the tastes to what they should be. It's pretty annoying.

Summoned Again is my favorite.
I forgot summoned again was even still going on since it's one of the longest books i've read so far.
I lost power yesterday for about 5 minutes. No reason given, just the entire grid in the area was shut off and crashed my computer, reset the microwave and the stove, and pissed me off because my computer had to update afterwards and that took a ridiculously long time.

Stuff like that happens pretty regularly in remote areas, cuz companies don't give a damn.
@Tajarim Luckily, the power didn't go off again while the computer was fixing itself. It specifically says to not turn the computer off in the middle of an update, so I was worried the whole time that the power would blink again. I would lose a lot of stuff... and now I need to find my backup drive and make another backup.
