Hi, I'm D. A. Holley. I'm the author of the Black Rain Chronicles, which you can find here and on Royal Road; and the Luckborn Series. As a Gay(TM) man, I always wanted to see queer people driving the plots of the stories I was reading (and I'm a huge fan of epic fantasy), so that's what I write. Both of my series' are centered on queer characters. The Black Rain Chronicles is heavier on the romance, and Spirit of Shadow is a smaller story you might find a bit more accessible than Tears for the Moon God (first in the Luckborn Series.

Hey so Spirit of Shadow is almost finished. I think it'll have concluded about two weeks from today, so just popping in to say the sequel is coming at the end of the month. First 10 chapters drop July 28th and then we go back to the usual release schedule. But this sequel follows different characters, so we're hitting the pause button on Lances arc for a bit and visiting his family in the borderlands. I think you'll like where this is going 😏
