IKR? Did HanNamja run dry? 
I'm starting to get serious bummed here. This story hasn't restarted and 2 of the main stories that I follow just ended their arcs and will likely be going through a hiatus.
Where can I go to check out "Past Life Regressor"?
I was also going to pick a few prime spots. If local, I'd set up across the bay in Lewiston, NY (near where the Niagra outlet is)... especially since it would get him out of the Canadian/betrayal legal zone and closer to some of the American heros he knows reside. ... he'd need to be wary of US intelligence agencies though.
So, was I close? Feel free to spoil in generalities. I'm sure that at some point betrayal will happen and economic and social collapse will happen... it is a given. Timing is the only question.
Does he prep?
Remember in the next arc he gets a storage item? He forges about 80 swords, so if one breaks, he can pull one out of his storage necklace. No need for repair, if he can make his own and store as many spares as needed,
I guess that covers non-magical medium ranged combat, once he learns to chuck swords (probably more effective than throwing knives, given the caliber of his future opponents). I both envy and pity you (if you ever cancel your Patreon); waiting for new chapters is simply misery.
I do, regularly. At the end of September, I’ll need to wait at least a month until I see 20 Patreon chapters have been accumulated. Then I buy another month.

(Kidding, mostly.) Its fine to support authors this way, if you like. I typically don't do Patreon; don't like them or their system. But I do buy from authors from various sites who eventually publish books.
Did you post a spoiler re. "create item"... aside from the very limited related ability to "create arrow" or "create explosive"?
Item necklace. He has ridiculous amount of storage. He can pack everything he needs to now. And once the current Inuit arc is over, he should hunt down those steel tusk boars to get otherworldly steel for crafting. Their boss must have some godly steel tusks. Item necklace for tusk storage!
Oh, he leveled up from beginning smith to novice smith soon. I’m now wondering if smithing has Four tiers...

HanNamja has hinted around 131 that those guys who FORCEFULLY tried to recruit Jason earlier think because they can’t control him, he needs to be eliminated. A sniper could do it, that’s why I think contract magic will become important.
By this point, it’s become meaningless. There are a LOT more awakened than expected, most out of government control. Including several high ranking Inuits...with weird ass powers. Oh, Mateo? He’s a Bruja, a wizard. He’s able to see Jason’s and Hakeem’s levels BEFORE awakening...
I'm a hair away from begging you for transcripts of the story... you're killin' me! Giving a power like that (contracts) to someone lacking the smarts or willingness to use it is an absolute freakin' waste. Though, in the MCs defense, if you can only make the other person agree to hide one thing, probably the top thing I'd have them agree to do is "don't expose my abilities to anyone unless you know that they're already aware of them" would top the list.
