I'm at 15,000 words for the Omake/OVA/Silly Water Park Chapter. The problem is it wound up delving into side character study although I think it flows well. But I found myself at a point where I didn't want to just add slice of life endlessly. I also just don't want to drip out chapters. I want it ALL done before I post more.
[Slowly starts writing again]. I’m gonna finish Am I A Man Or A Girl. Amidst health stuff I also wanted to creatively refuel so I’ve been reading over 200+ books in 2022. I thought I would get tired of it sooner but I guess I needed the books.

@potsticker I managed to finish Dune in a day. Partially audiobooks, partially graphic novels and manga but a large majority full books

Approaching 15,000 words for the chapter. Allergy season smacked the crap out of me. Finally starting to get back to normal. Apologies for the delays :(

Good. I've been waiting for that for years now.
Still writing the chapter but slowed down due to health stuff. I wanted to give moments to as many characters as I could.
Health, your life, comes before anything else. I keep seeing writers push themselves beyond their limits and, when they finally do rest, I witness them not recover their motivation to write. I don't know how to make it more clear to people that our bodies remember what got them ill and will work towards preventing the same thing from happening again.
That's practically what burnout is all about.
Your health is the most important! Don't worry about us if it impacts your health.

I am feeling better though and I’ll keep working on the story and try to balance my focuses. Usually I’m just all consuming or all spilling creativity out. I need to balance things. I could do reviews of the books. Almost 50 of them since 2022 started.

Only 44 officially but 48 if you count the books I finished that were leftover from 2021. Over 100 for the last 12 months though.
It’s been a month since I last updated the story but I do have about 3000 words of the next chapter. It’s the climactic one mother versus daughter as I often present storywise. I’ve spent most of it reading to recharge my creativity again :-(. So many books at a crazy pace.
