I'm just a guy who likes to write fantasy!
Okay, so an update. Any further uploads are delayed due to severe electrical issues at my home. Everything's constantly flickering and dimming like there's not enough power to go around, and I don't feel safe turning on my computer because I don't want it to get damaged. (I fear it already is, but I can't be too sure.)
So... I didn't mean for another impromptu hiatus, but there may not be any uploads until after next week. It just depends on what the issue is and how long it'll take to get fixed. I'm still writing, though, on my phone. So content is being made. It's just content isn't being edited or published.
Safety is most important. Nothing else matters if you don't stay safe.
Another update.
I have finished the first editing pass of Arc 1 of Interconnected: Spliced Souls.
What's next? I'm fleshing out the ending by ~2K words, changing a few small things to make the story flow better, and then one more editing pass, where I'm going to focus on pacing. We're looking at about ~37 chapters and around 147K words.
We're really close to the finish line!

Still editing it. I had a beta reader look it over and received some feedback. A few things are needing to change. And since I posted my last profile update, I've added about 8k words and three more chapters.
Good news~ The first draft of Arc 1 of Interconnected: Spliced Soul (The rewritten Book One of my first story) is finished!
As of now, it's going to be about 33-35 chapters, around 133k words, and at least 11 images. But since I have yet to edit it (I'm going to start on that tomorrow, on the 26th of April,) those numbers aren't set in stone.
But the finish line is within reach!
The update post I had planned to upload today is going to be delayed because I lost power. I'll try to have it up either tomorrow, on Saturday, or Sunday morning.
Sorry about that! To make it up, I'll upload some sneak peeks at some images I have prepared for Arc 4!
What happened with your plan to start releasing Interconnected
It went through a few more rewrites because I wasn't happy with the quality. But I've still been working on it and getting some images. I have a beta reader who's giving me some quality feedback, and I'm planning to be done with Book One / Arc 1 in the next 9-10 chapters.
On the plus side, I have about 10-12 images to use, and I'm going to try to get 3 or 4 more.
I'm super sorry for the rather extended delay.
Any plans for a discord server?
I'm super sorry for the delay, but as of right now, I do not have a discord server. I'm not all that familiar with the service, but I was thinking about making one when Arc 4 of Chimeric Ascension drops. I'd also like to have one for Interconnected: SS as well. If I need help setting one up, can I ask you?

What happened with your plan to start releasing Interconnected last month? I was waiting (basically) on the edge of my seat for it.
Do you think that a few proofreaders would help? I may not be an author, but I have a feeling that could be helpful.
I was actually thinking about asking if you wanted a link to the word document to get a look at it since I know you've been looking forward to it. Kinda like an early preview.
And I think I know why I've been stressing and why I haven't liked anything I've recently written for it. I've been trying to edit and write both stories at the same time on the same day.
I've got a schedule, now, to focus on one story on one day, and the other story on the next, which should help me a lot.

I don't know if you've ever been asked this but, is there a discord or are there plans for one?
Sorry I haven't replied. I thought I did, but I guess I didn't. But to answer your question, no, I do not have a discord. I don't have much experience in it. Perhaps in the future I'll make one, but it's going to be when I have a steady schedule and when things calm down a bit in my personal life.
