So, what story are you talking about? Anyway, I've read tens of thousands of books, I can get through a novel a day. I'm a pretty experienced reader. That also means my judgement is quite good. When I abandon a story... that is generally pretty well-deserved.

Crimson Fields. I wouldn't say 9 chapters was really giving it much of a chance?

It's rolling along slowly but it'll get there eventually.

Your review is also not exactly what I would call constructive feedback (Feels like trolling tbh) so it ends up being difficult for me to take it seriously...

It wasn't trolling. The feedback was extremely constructive. I gave you specific, fixable reasons why I abandoned your series. Your writing has potential, but the decision-making of your protagonists was unforgivable. Once I can't relate to the decisions protagonists are making, or I can't suspend my disbelief, I'm done with a novel. But good news! If you ever decide to do a rewrite, you now have specific things you can improve to make it better.

The narrative doesn't fit into the "Demons think like humans so they make human decisions" theme. Also Lulu and Lyssa aren't friends, their relationship is a lot more complicated than that.

Admittedly I'll probly do a rewrite for some of the earlier chapters but that won't happen until after I've finished the story.
