Imagine this.
You're riding on an road in the middle of the night.
Suddenly everything stands still.
You know you're stuck.
You know you're being chased.
You're armed with an recorder, an car, and an knack for finding spare change.
Other than animals and inhuman beings there seems to be nobody other then the "people" working at the services.
There's an haunting beauty to this place.
What would you do? Would you carry on?
Any tips for getting the motivation to write again?
It depends on your muse honestly. Are you working from an outline or are you working organically? I like to write my outlines organically as opposed to systematically then use my outlines as storyboards to write from. I've found that really helps prevent writers block. I generally get about 3k or so words a day five days a week. Any more and my fingertips just get a little too numb.
I don't know. I just write my stories as my creativity and ideas go. Sometimes I use emotion and music to help my muse. The former is more about short bursts that falls horribly after an few hundred words.

So I just joined the competition a week ago. It seems like winning is just a dream. Hopefully, I'll end the story and reach the forty thousand word count (oof).
