I've been reading various gender bender stories, manga and light novels for about 8-9 years now and it's my favorite genre. I attempted to make a gender bender game on tfgamesite about 2 years ago and got stuck because of a lack of knowledge. Then I decided a couple weeks back to try writing a story with that in mind. Please enjoy and review my work as it's my first time writing in this format in a public forum.
Chapter 159: An Unpleasant Reality is now public! It has a noncon content warning attached as well as blatant racism to keep that in mind but I’m satisfied with the chapter regardless.
Chapter 5 - A Long Expected Party is now on Patreon! I quite like how this one turned out, despite it being shorter than the last chapter. I played around a bit more with Rose's mentality, solidifying her behavior. As well as expanding the party section of the chapter considerably to flesh out the event far more than I did in the original.
I feel much more satisfied with this version than I was with how the original one turned out and Loki was considerably more creepy in this version than he was originally, mirroring his later appearance in the original version in terms of overall behavior and disturbing aura. Dude is creepy AF and it shows.
I also did a lot of work on the in-between portions of the story, the stuff that I skipped to go right to Rose's schooling, and we've now reached fully new sections of the story. Here is where I'll be introducing some of Rose's extended family in future chapters as well as going far more in depth into the Lamia's culture and lifestyles. Stuff that I'd originally only breifly referenced or entirely left within the Q&A sessions.
Expect a temple visit in an upcoming chapter as well as a bit of a childish spat between Rose and one of her cousins. All stuff that will expand the story. Enjoy!
Chapter 4 - A Long Expected Visit is now on Patreon! I absolutely love how this chapter turned out, it's probably my favorite rewrite chapter so far with a lot of extra context and some events that I'd originally wanted for the story but hadn't remembered, or had the opportunity, to include. We get quite a bit of adorable Rose behavior in this chapter and I make it a bit more clear as to the mentality of those around her as well as her own thoughts than I did originally.
The basic story still follows the original chapter but a lot of additions have been made that make the story much more enjoyable in my opinion.
Chapter 158: A Terrifying Admission is now public! This chapter is chock full of disconcerting imagery without being upsetting, imagine that. Anyway this is the last chapter of the in-between arc with the next chapter being the beginning of the War arc. Enjoy!
Chapter 160: New Beginnings and Fast Farewells is now on Patreon! This chapter is what could officially be called the start of the War itself, although no battles have begun yet. However, some major things are occuring that will have large impacts later on in the story, some of which will be upsetting. Regardless, enjoy!
Chapter 159: An Unpleasant Reality is now on Patreon! This chapter was deeply unpleasant to write but it was also extremely important for the story. As always, chapters with POV’s in the Church are never pleasant so a big content warning is included in the beginning of the chapter.
Chapter 158: A Terrifying Admission is now on Patreon! I wrote this chapter with a scene from the Dragon Age Origins game in my mind, both because I love that game and the scene in question is extremely good, on top of being pertinent to Rose's situation. I felt a bit shaky at the beginning but after reading it through in one go I feel it flows fairly well so I'm quite happy with the end result!
This will be the last chapter before the start of the War arc so look forward to it, I have a bit of thinking to do about how I want to begin but I've come up with a few good ideas, I'll work on them a bit before deciding. Enjoy!

Chapter 3: The Untold Stories is now on Patreon! As always these rewrite chapters will not be available publicly until the entire arc is finished at which point they'll mirror our normal release schedule. This one ended up slightly shorter than the last 2 but not by much.
I just reached a good stopping point and decided against starting on a new thread, leaving that until the next chapter. Either way I update a lot of the later introduced lore in this chapter, bringing it more in line with things that weren't solidly decided on when I first wrote it.
I'll be doing a lot of that as we move forward as some things were softly retconned in later chapters because of story reasons as well as the fact that I'd not yet really solidified a lot of the story yet since I hadn't really thought I'd continue after lockdown. Boy was I wrong! Haha!
Chapter 2: Generic Isekai, Is It? is now on Patreon! Just a reminder that this chapter will not be publically available until the entire arc is finished, at which point it will be released every other week just as normal chapters for my web version. This one ended up a bit longer even than the 1st chapter rewrite but I'm even more satisfied with the way it turned out.
One of the things that I felt was a bit too abrupt in the first version was how aggressive the grandparents were only to back off instantly so I drew that out slightly. Not too long, but a bit more of a realistic time. Enjoy!
Chapter 155: Cut From the Same Cloth is now public! This is the first chapter of time skips, each chapter will be standalone or only loosely related, I’ll be doing a few of these to make the time skip between major arcs less severe. Enjoy!

Chapter 156: Definitely NOT a Siscon is now on Patreon! This chapter is, almost in its entirety, pure sugar! I nearly died from an overdose of pure sweetness and only hung on by a thread with emergency insulin! Either way Rose's little sister is finally born and it's the cutest thing that's ever existed! Enjoy!
Chapter 155: Cut From the Same Cloth is now on Patreon! This is the first of my standalone timeskip chapters and I feel pretty satisfied with it in general. The story is simple and cute with a bit of action, the perfect recipe for a one-shot chapter.
Either way I plan on doing a few more of these types of chapters to fill in the gap between the two big arcs that way we can get a bit of character development instead of picking up almost a decade later and pretending nothing happened in that time. Enjoy!
Chapter 154: An Ending of a Dynasty? is now public! I struggled a bit with the ending, rewriting it several times, but eventually got something that I was happy with. We start off with a cute dance between our two MC’s and end with a hard decision for the Queen. The next chapter is already written but I don’t currently have access to a computer so it’ll be on Patreon sometime tomorrow. Enjoy!
Chapter 1: Aloha Truck-kun, I've Been Expecting You is now up on Patreon! This ended up taking significantly longer than I'd expected it to, honestly, I should have anticipated the length of the chapter, which ended up at 8,065 words overall, but I thought it would be closer to my current length. I'm going to try and keep future chapters at that length which will allow me to write in much more detail and also to merge several chapters together where it makes sense.
The story follows along with the original web novel version story-wise with the biggest difference being the amount of detail and the writing style, which has changed since I first wrote it. Anyways, enjoy!
