I just noticed you took down Mousegirl, may I ask why? It was really enjoyable.
Honestly... I was very unhappy with it. I kept teeter-tottering between "maybe I'll keep writing this" and "I never want to touch this again". I talked to several friends about my dilemma and got a pretty mixed response there too... which made any decision difficult.
I was in love with the world of Mousegirl when I started. The story has more written history and lore than anything I've ever worked on. I do have a few ideas of 'what went wrong'.
Ultimately I think it'll take months before I can settle on a good direction for a rewrite.
New people would find it, maybe they'd like it, and then they'd be sad it wasn't going anywhere... not in that state anyway.
