If anyone is wondering, the author is not dead. Almost all of their online activity stopped between Jan and Jul of 2023, but I did fine one site where they were last active Aug 2024 ( I won't say which in case the author doesn't want people bothering them).
I just wanted to know they were okay
It would be nice to have an update from them on whatever is going on, their Patreon is "under review" and is inaccessible.

The patreon was updated in October 19 2023 with the most current chapter, chapter 77, so I’m assuming they are just not uploading to Scribblehub anymore.

It was actually August of this year not last year, so it hasn't posted for 2 months which looks like isn't that uncommon going off of the prior posts on their Patreon. Still a bit disappointing though.
