Hi so I'm curious about your novel MC cuz Mimic is usually a polymorph Disguised as Inanimate objects? But are the Mimics similar to dyrad in some story were they lure men in to feed off desires usually lust tho?
In this case no, mimic's are as I would describe them as gluttonous and greedy creatures, think twitch streamer using followers to get more stuff, be it money, gifts or on occasion, food for free
I usually think of them as something similar to Venice flytrapor something
that description is for the demi-human evolution later on
normal mimics are gluttonous do to them usually depicted as a mouth chest,greedy do to them usually depicted as a treasure chest most of the time
