I am Jessie, I am a bit of a novice writer that found this site due to a friend and started uploading past stories that have been on hold for awhile. Having even the slightest interest in them has managed to get me to write a bit more but life can be pretty chaotic and get in the way so I apologise for any long delays and such.
I can often lack motivation and mood issues which further makes things worse for working on my stories and as I am dyslexic, I know my stories are full of typos and such, sorry in advance for any mistakes.
Hopefully people will enjoy my stories but I know they are not for everyone.
Since I have a chapter scheduled for today on the day the internet becomes useless (april first). I want to stress I will never upload fake chapters or updates. I hate April First and how nothing can be trusted.
I repeat, I will NEVER take part in being a fool to others on April first.
My new story 'Skater Girl' Just has just had its first chapter uploaded. I am not sure the release schedule but I am likely aiming for every few days while I keep editing it, it is adapted from the anthology story 'Fallen from Grace'

While I have uploaded it and I am updating it with a chapter every 2 days it hasn't hit the latest series, been searchable or had any of the latest updates show up on the front page.
All chapters for Skater Girl are now scheduled. The release is every 2 days.
Figured out what was wrong with my last story but it has been a while so I am not rushing to fix it. Yesterday I wrote over 21k odd words (a new record, don't recommend) and finished my newest story today. If I can edit it and figure out some minor details I will start uploading but I am burnt out.
Writers block and drained from recovery, a bad combination. Pretty tired and motivation has dipped, taking a break from exhaustion kind of stopped me writing. I want to finish the new story just got a lot going on. Not sure why I write these updates, doubt anyone reads them. Still doing well just need to take everything day by day, sorry to everyone.
Update! Doing well but taking things slow. That's a lie, I started a story and today is day 5 of writing it. Around 50 THOUSAND words now. This is Hellbound levels of inspiration (wrote that fast but not this insane). I want to finish it before sharing it. Hopefully very soon but I am not sure just how far into it I am. I know the plot and even have the ending chapter done but got a lot to cover.
While the body heals the mind goes into overdrive to not go insane. Gone to exhaustion so need to take a break, I really want to write and work on it more but the writing has most likely already dropped in quality (not that mine is great already...)
Tempted to start uploading earlier than planned. I want to finish it just completely exhausted after almost 60 thousand words in 6 days.
Life has been chaotic, got out of hospital (6 night stay) on the 28th (all good now). Some recovery stuff still but I am doing a lot better. Ideally I will be writting a lot more and got ideas. Depression seems to be gone which is amazing.
Posted a short story in my anthology called 'The Hero's Party Returns'. A little spin on the whole male hero with all-women party members and a harem.
Just a minor update, I have been writing a little but nothing is really at the stage I want to post it yet (I am an awful editor) but 2 stories in the works. Totally distracted at times but hopefully people will have something to enjoy soon-ish.
It is really hard to protect the little flame of motivation...
It has been around a year and I haven't managed much. It is rare to get those moments where my mind can focus, it can actually work... I posted some extracts of posts I have made in shorts. I have worked a little on a new short story but nothing to publish and hellbound x is on hold.

Honestly, I have found the problem with my current writing, motivation, and mood issues a bit (which are often problematic). The thing was I finished hellbound but I wanted to spend more time in the world when likely I should have stopped or at least had a gap. Maybe I should have just been writing without the intent to post it (until I was finished) but I then get locked into it more.
Things are pretty busy so I won’t be writing for a while.

Apologies for late response as I've been off the web too, for a while. I had a series I felt the same way about, sort of. I can at least say neither of us are alone in this sentiment.

Started to edit a chapter a bit but depression has hit like a truck recently. No idea when things will settle and I will manage to get the chapter out.
Almost a month later and I don't really have much to show for it. Just over 2 chapters was all I managed before stalling. I am doing too much still but at least some of the real life stuff has been resolved.
I do worry that putting down the pen was problematic. I was hitting exhausion but I was at least managing to write, I feel I lost my flow. Maybe I am just lacking vision with the story. I don't know what comes next.
I don’t want to just fade away and disappoint people.
Sorry about the messy post, my first attempt was a lot cleaner and more detailed but there is only a 500 character limit and I was nearing three times that. I will likely edit and upload the newer chapters soon and hopefully, that will make a spark to get back into writing.
The truth is, it truly does break all concept of reality, to think your taking a breather could disappoint unseen readers! You are worth more than this simple sentiment!

I know this won't reach many people but a little announcement. I have been working pretty heavily on a lot recently and while I have the next Hellbound X chapter scheduled (at the usual time) I am going to be taking a break. I am pretty exhausted. I am not sure when I will be back to writing but hopefully soon.
I might delay a return to build a buffer and after certain in real-life events. I will try to get back to writing as soon as possible, but won't make any promises for the time being.

Hello, life is busy-ish but still trying to write a bit to get chapters every 2 days. It can be pretty hard to get ideas at times. How are you?
I'm ok but realizing I may be lax on timing. I have been on a strange writing spree, about to start uploading in the next days.
Just want to say how much I have enjoyed Hellbound so far and I have to say if there were more stories with these characters or even in same setting I would certainly read them.
Glad people are enjoying it. The final chapter should release in about an hour and while I have had a few ideas for side stories and such, I haven't locked in anything and I am not sure what will happen. It is an option but it would likely be as a side story (if it does happen no idea). Hellbound was created in basically less than a week so I have had some recovery time. I had an idea and ran with it.
