2. The characters and world feel actually alive and real. They each have their own good sides and bad habits. The MC actually feels like a genius and not omnipresent. The characters act like how id imagine somebody like them would act in a real-life situation. They are all great in their own ways. And the world is dark but alive as you would expect a world like this to be.

3. I fucking love the MC. She is such a BAMF It's not even funny. She is such a ruthless and lovable person that does things in such awesome and dastardly ways that I can't help but smile at her thoughts and actions. I probably wouldn't have reviewed the novel if I didn't love the mc so much.

4. It's actually dark and evil. It's surprisingly rare to find actually dark and evil novels that are this well done and because of that, I love this novel even more.

tl;dr: the MC is a cool badass evil queen of destruction in a really dark world and I want to see her kill, torture, and exploit everything in her way.

I don't know why it just dawned on me after reading your comments, but TEVR is a pretty dark story, isn't it? I never fully saw it that way, until now. But then again, in comparison to other stories I have read, this is like a dark grey, not fully a bleak black, you know?

I just personally don't like stupid and naive protagonists. I'm sure other people could love the story but the naivety kinda ruined it for me. I didn't feel like writing a review because it's not actual criticism and is just a personal preference. 

It's the first time I've found one of the people who gave me a bad rating so I wanted to ask.

To be honest, I care about my ratings more than I probably should... Especially if personal preference is a big factor.

The people who give your story 1 and 2 stars are doing it for the same reason I did and it's because despite the MC having read thousands of books she is so offensively stupid and unfathomably naive that it for ME sucks the life out of all the great things in the novel.

I don't know if you should change it or not, I'm not an author so it's best to do what YOU want. 

Also, I'm only one of the 4 bad ratings you have among almost 100 good ones and you are in the top 2% of the website so you really shouldn't stress yourself over a very minimal amount of bad rating. Lots of people love this novel and it shows.
