(JAN 2022 UPDATE PART 2/3)

Some chapters I feel good about, so they're published quickly and with only a few drafts. Example: HRWW Chapter 4. I wrote it in two days.

Other chapters are just a nightmare for me, taking over ten drafts and I'm still not satisfied with them. Example: HRWW Chapter 12. I think I wrote over 30k words for that chapter and only 3-4k of it made it to publish. It was difficult for me as a novice writer to capture Bai Yiyan in words that matched the image of him in my head.

(JAN 2022 UPDATE PART 1/3)

Hi all, just wanted to assure everyone that yes, I am still writing. I'm just slow ah. 

I actually got very close to publishing the next chapter last month...but in the end, I still wasn't happy with it. So I'm now currently on the fifth rewrite of that chapter. I'd like to claim that 'quality writing takes time' or something else really pretentious, but I'm really just a slow novice writer who trashes a lot of their drafts when they're almost completed haha.
