Hi, I'm Samantha Asterisk, I'm a long-time closeted geek who recently broke out, which solved one problem and made oh so many new ones. I'm a trans woman, and I'm still figuring out if I'm bisexual, biromantic, or just all bi myself.
There's a few other people in my head, but they're mostly content in their own space and binging audiobooks all day. A large amount of my writing is simply them playing dress-up and improv, then me doing the hard part of pruning it down.
I write strange stories, and sometimes I write enough of one that it feels worthy of sharing.
I also play a bunch of indie games, and read a lot of fics and comics.

Next chapter is heavy, and finishing it up last week was a bit of a struggle with all the emotion it holds, and then all the news just shattered my mental health. Chipping at it slowly, but mostly just distracting myself with the new guild wars expansion and doing research to improve my transition.
Gonna make an effort to keep writing what I can when I can, but I'm not gonna hurt myself more by crunching or pushing it an inferior work.

Good news, My trial run of ADHD medication seems to be helping, with very mild side effects that I actually like. It hasn't completely kicked the dysfunction away, but it has made focusing on stuff far less stressful, and I've written quite a bit since starting it. New chappy Friday.

Been playing Hades lately. It's a really solid game, but I can't help but feel that the meta progression is painfully slow, especially once you hit your skill ceiling and struggle to get new wins.
Also, props to supergiant for a bi poly guy being the protagonist, but I just can't help wishing I could play the game with a daughter of Hades...

Thanks for reading! I was building a buffer for this story for four months, so I'll be able to keep going for a good while even if I've been writing slower sometimes due to stress. Next chapter to finish the first day should be up sometime tomorrow, I only recently noticed a big plot hole that needs repairing before I can post it, just need to write the silly fix.
