I am gonna come back with a novel I'm pretty sure that I can actually finish (maybe), it's a puzzle series and requires the protagonist to think. if you don't like that don't read it, if you wanna try to read it then go ahead, it is actually using my experience in I.T. to make it more interesting too.

Hello, I'm not dead (yet), I am going to college for IT and Cyber Security, so of course I'm mostly swamped out, but I'm just going to retry my writing career in a way that reboots the demon queens demon daughters world in a better way than now and make it more built up. Also, my (new refurbished) Laptop is blinking 4 amber 1 white, so I'm going to either not worry about that, or have a very short comeback!.

soon there will be an update for the demon queen's demon daughters, although I needed to borrow the school computers to do so. It will be generally shorter than the other chapters, and it might not be as nice as the other chapters, but it's coming. after I graduate, which will happen next week, expect a sharp decrease in updates.
The hard drive should keep any info saved on it after shut down. Or go Google docs for auto saves and you can open from anywhere. Then should be able to save/export to the computer. Or just copy paste.
It still works, it just has a bunch of static electricity in it, so I have to remove the internal battery. The reason I haven't fixed it myself is because fixing vomputers now and days is like surgery
Very true. Pulled the battery out of my laptop and the hard drive from another. The worst part is separating the keyboard from the casing. Always one screw in the middle that you have to somehow get to from the key side or break the bracket to get it off. And you have to do that to separate the two halves of the laptop.
I did find how to get to it though... had to take off all the keys and pull off the silicone contact surface to get to the printed circuit board that runs the keyboard to get to that screw. Quite the pain.
Well, dangut, I turning on my laptop today, and lo and behold, it wouldn't turn on even at 100%. Screw whoever made this laptop, because at this point I think they're actively trying to make me buy a new computer
Edit: gateway laptops have lost all of my trust, it won't start unless it's on a charger, and If it isn't on a charger, I need to push the screen all the way back to even get the power to turn on for even a split second
First chapter of Cardheart's side characters has been completed, one very familiar character if you have read my stories from the very beginning has been reimagined in the first chapter.
I'm considering making a few short stories for characters that I have created for my game, although a few of them are already in my stories but with different backstories, quite a few of them are unique to my game, and aren't supposed to have more backstory than a single incident changing their life and causing them to join the story of the game.
I've got three stories that I'll probably make, one for Alvar, Who is nicknamed "The Guardian", who I won't describe and will instead try to make his story unique. Eir, or the "Medical Engineer"(Name pending!), she makes her own medical equipment to use in active field testing. and Rosalind "The Experiment", who has accidentally experimented on herself, causing her genetics to malfunction.
I also have skid, but I'm not writing for him...
I think I'm just going to end most of my stories and make one large story that encompasses them all in some way.

I might ask for a new computer, because this laptop is awful, it shows a error every now and then when it restarts. I can't even put it in sleep mode, unless I want to hard restart it, it turns into a furnace if the charger cord is even mildly disconnected, and it doesn't even allow to open diagnostics, the service that allows me to find out what is going wrong.
That is awesome it is under warranty. Less hassle that way. Good luck and hope it works out!
