Hi! I saw you leave a review on my story, thanks for that. I would like to point out, that eating a devil fruit doesn't cure you of any disease. You talked about Law as an exemple, but law had to study  to be a doctor to cure himself with the Ope Ope no Mi. 
And that's for normal Humans with normal bodies, which the MC is clearly not and doesn't have. Neither is he sick.
