What you will not find in my writing:
Animal abuse or cruelty (efficient hunting happens); any bigotry/prejudice/sexism/etc as a good or even vaguely acceptable thing; Disney romance; gore, horror, and similarly yucky disturbing things; military stories; cliche sexual "Will they? Won't they?" ad nauseam; grimdark ANYTHING; abandoned stories; unsettling or depressing endings; Save The World quests; fanfiction; abuse masquerading as love or healthy sex; gratuitous sex or violence.
I'm too pleased with the characters from "Possession" to not share them when I see a way to do that. Expect some teaser-type content coming here around the second full week of March - or earlier for Patrons, which is, srsly, $1 until I find better rewards. Wow, I've been quiet for a while. That happens when I get deep in a story. I just posted an update, which won't fit here, at https://www.patreon.com/posts/status-update-im-97790269 - public, no account needed. It's just a quick look at the two stories my brain is tossing me back and forth between, and an apology for being slow. (I'm quite sure I've written well over 100K words since I last said anything, though, so... I am getting there!) Thanks for being patient!
Well, the isekai story I expected to be quick and light is definitely not going to wrap up in under 100K words. Oops. The world turned out to be worth exploring more and the characters say they need more room to develop, so I guess my plan to move fairly quickly through the key locations failed. The hiatus will be little longer than anticipated, but the end result will be a queer trans poly isekai story with a paramedic MC, a couple of unpleasant antagonists, and more depth than I anticipated.

I hoped to have a new Hallowe'en story this year (it's the best holiday!) but no luck. No idea I came up with felt as good as last year's, which turned out much better than I ever expected. @Kaiyalai Pebble folded, with only a week's warning, at the end of October. Turns out a social media platform that a lot of introverts found startlingly friendly didn't grow fast enough or make enough money for investors. Along with many from it, I created an account on Mastodon, which is where I do what actual social media I ever do these days, which isn't much since I value whatever mental health I have.

New story done! I just need to do a cover. (I'm a writer, Jim, not a graphic designer!) Tentatively, I'll post the first two chapters Friday. It's fantasy-medieval time! The story is sort of a romance, sort of not, but definitely trans... this is going to be a tough one to tag, but it was fun to write. A lighter one, before I get back to bigger projects. (I mean, it's not even 80K words!) (But it was meant to be at most a novella, so...)
Well, Lamia's done! At least for now, since I have sequel requests, but that'll take a while. Thanks to all readers! I'm working on editing a short light novel that's... sort of a romance with a trans MC, so that'll be up soon. After that... we'll see!
