Somebody over on web novel. It’s just a direct copy paste minus the author notes. From the other stories they posted it doesn’t appear mine is the only story they posted as their own either.

Hey, so sorry. A lot happened between now and my last post. Family visiting, travel, getting sick (again), etc. Writing took a bit of a back seat while everything was going on. Hopefully I'll be posting sometime soon but I can't say exactly when. I'll do my best.

The concept is similar to that yes. I won't speak to how individuals in the story feel towards the MC, as I don't want to spoil things, but age is a large factor when it comes to the ability's limits.
