i wanted to leave a question about what if scenario about our mc's mentaility
this is completely hypothetical and would probably not happen in this fictional world of yours because humans somehow all of them blindly follow god of theirs for now
what if out mc met a group of soldiers working for the empire, unrelated to slavers directly, nor anything points to the fact they have ever worked with these slaves, and they were facing mc, and they as a group lets say 500 men decided to surrender when they meet some forced from vampires, lets say the leader of the group has inspects and decides to surrender.
would mc kill all 500? or would she take them as prisoners of war as is the morally right thing to do. even in medieval Europe, not every enemy combatant was always killed just because they worked for the enemy, that would idiotic.
yes, some cases of these actions are known today, but they are well known and regarded as evil or crazy people.

In that scenario, she wouldn't kill them. She knows better than most that there isn't anyone who is absolutely good, and doesn't kill just for the hell of it. She doesn't value life as much as some, but doesn't kill for fun. There was a lot of collateral damage at the end of what's written, but she deemed it necessary to swiftly end a conflict before it could hurt her people.
To her, her people come first. In that scenario, if those 500 soldiers had killed someone she cared about or tortured one of her people for information, she would likely kill them.

Since when did your story gain the GL tag?
Or was it always there?
I added it yesterday instead of the Tragedy. I was originally going to do more with tragedy, but decided against it. As it is, I don't think that fit very well. What do you think?
I haven't read it yet, so can't exactly give any opinion about it (since I have it filtered to only works tagged with GL and I saw your story the moment I posted the original comment)
Thank you, yeah I was stuck on what the difference between the two would be as there is a decent amount of overlap between the two. If you wanted to skim the main GL parts, the MC's partner shows up at the end of ch 8-13, then ch 25 and a second couple introduced in ch 32. There are never any explicit sex scenes. It's all just treated as any other normal relationship, but overall felt the tag matched the story better.
I think mature would fit more, since in my opinion the adult tag sort of implies an erotica (basing it on the stories tagged "Adult" on this site as well, even if I don't read any of them. Unless it's purely GL.)
