Oh you changed the title. Kinda conflicted between which one is better. Btw gore is just because the enemies of MC die horribly right ? It's not because the world there is a shithole right ?
As for the latter part of the question, I'll say that yes, enemies die horribly (though there won't be much gore in early chapters), and PART of the world is a shithole (refer to prologue).
However, rest assure that the first two arcs are very tame and can be enjoyed normally. If you have the interest in reading the story and providing feedback, it's all welcome.
I think i will wait when it got enough chapters.
