I pushed the little *pronoun* out of the way, and attempted to leap after *pronoun*. For a moment, time seemed to have stopped. I was sure it was going to hit me. I saw my life flashed before my eyes, then the loud honk of the truck broke me out of my stupor. Dread filled me as I desperately move out of its' way. The truck bearly grazed me and shrieked itself to a stop. The driver side door swung open and a very mad looking *pronoun* dismounted.
