What do you think that a dungeon should have
I'm thinking of traps treasure and obviously monsters
I want to know about a good dungeon from a better writer

Also, what do you think the layout of a dungeon should be is it a bunch of chambers, chambers with halls connecting it, or chambers and floors.

It really depends on the situation. Traps and monsters are obviously a must since there would be no point in a dungeon that is just empty. Also, in stories like fantasy ones, dungeons can be a sandbox for whatever you desire. Want it to be futuristic in your fantasy world, go for it. Want it to be a dreary cave full of chamber upon chamber? Perfect. Want it to be a pyramid that, after making it halfway sends you to a shadow realm, better believe it’s a good idea.
So go with whatever your heart and mind desires.
