I personally like transformation stories. That a change happens that the MC can't simply ignore.
Nonetheless, I really wish for the character to still behave like a normal person. If not I ask myself what even is the point of the MC being a former human if they for example just act like any other demon.
Also, I have a preferation for female MCs.
Maybe I just got tired of all those harem protagonists. But even if they're not like this, I find that the stuff that happens has less impact. It's somewhat expected from a male character to fight and survive. I find the emotional turmoil of a girl far more relatable.
What I really dislike is when the girl big plastered on a cover is not the supposed MC but the pale guy in the background of the right corner.

I hope everyone is ready for the finale of this arc of Slime Girl next week. Yes, I'm going to continue the story after this (though, a hiatus might become necessary in due time, like around a dozen chapters).
However, I wrote quite a while to get to this chapter and hope for comments next saturday.
I chose to name the sidestory we're currently at in Formicea. Made more sense for me.
Let's take this chapter as a gift for my successful exams.

Seriously, everything I know about timetraveling makes me only think that it's a terrible idea which can only end in chaos and entropy.

I can see why it would be a bad idea but if you just want her to see the past earth or dinossaurs and stuff like that you can say it is a alternate Earth or other universe very similar

Well, Iori is outer goddess so I think she can unconsciously block few problematic travels, fix some paradoxes without even perceiving them or block her memory off screen, she wants to be normal after all.
Iori would certainly be capable of traversing time casually. She can probably even create new timelines and move freely between them. She could go back in time, mess around, then go to another timeline where she didn’t mess around. She could go back a few weeks and meet herself before she became an outer god if she wanted. It’s harder to imagine something that would be beyond her power.

On another note, can anyone recommend a good tablet?
My current regularly shuts down, which already cost me a too great number of chapters.
The issue is, that I need the right virtual keyboard. My current (Acer) has one, where I can swipe directly to the right character. For example, I can swipe on "?" up to get "!" or left for "(" without delay. Microsoft keyboards don't bring this. Also, they don't push the lower area up, but overlap it, so you can't get to what's behind it when activated.
The other specifications would be that I need a desktop, with the usual PC folders instead of APPs and any kind of USB-port.
Also, my current is around 13,5 - 21,7cm or 5,3-8,5 inches. The last I bought was like 10 - 22cm and like this thrown out money.
If anyone can recommend me a good tablet I would be very glad. Money is no real problem, but I wouldn't want to pay much more than 600€.
Also, it would enable me to write more, and if that's not motivating?
As I said, I can't work well with APP-based navigation. I need a desktop and the possibility to click on stuff on the taskbar or my own data, documents folders. Don't know much about third-party keyboards. Just had once this Microsoft tablet which did this overlapping thing and for example couldn't click on next page on google with it on. Had to return it.
What's your opinion on physical keyboards?
I have a stationary PC I work on with, but for writing stories, to feel comfortable, I prefer the tablet, as I can easier take it anywhere (chair, bed, subway) and it's lighter to lift.
Right now all I can really think of that meats your requirements are laptops that have touch screens and honestly there are a bunch in your price range online so that's what I'm going to suggest, you might want to look into some

To all slime girl readers: I've just added basically a new chapter at the end of Chapter 106. It was too small to stand alone and was too disconnected from the one I'm releasing today.
I probably should say this now. From 7. of March on I'm going to write exams for two weeks, so I fear I'll have to stop releasing during that time.
While I was preparing the next Formicea chapter for this week I got a little idea and ended up making a filler chapter. So instead of the one I intended to release you'll get that one. So this Sunday you'll see one of the most recent I ever made. Also, it's like three times the usual length.
Once again I somehow managed to get 1st on trending. And...

I think it is because your stories are quite different from most stories on this site so they stick out.
They are not LitRPGs(major one for me, at least) and have mostly grounded fantasy setting (mb not counting eldrich one).
There are quite a lot of struggle in them but they are not action focused. Making most of struggle psychological, political or diplomatic and personal.
Also having inteligent monsters in your stories who are not just like humans with different colored hair or skin while still have them interact with humanity and having trasformed Non-human protagonist gives you a lot of oportunity to explore differences between them and not just shrug it off and say chliche "they are just like us" and at the same time say "humans are the real mosters".
For some reason, I have to think now about how Liqu dissolved poor Horsi.
