I personally like transformation stories. That a change happens that the MC can't simply ignore.
Nonetheless, I really wish for the character to still behave like a normal person. If not I ask myself what even is the point of the MC being a former human if they for example just act like any other demon.
Also, I have a preferation for female MCs.
Maybe I just got tired of all those harem protagonists. But even if they're not like this, I find that the stuff that happens has less impact. It's somewhat expected from a male character to fight and survive. I find the emotional turmoil of a girl far more relatable.
What I really dislike is when the girl big plastered on a cover is not the supposed MC but the pale guy in the background of the right corner.

Sorry. Had also a moment today when I was sad I couldn't release, but also a tiny bit relieved that I didn't have to.
I plan to release Arachne on RoyalRoad as well. Though, only one chapter daily at first.
Just so I know, what would you like me to concentrate on? (Slime Girl and Formicea are safe)
Eldritch, Arachne, or one of the not-published ones: Lich (that one I'm thinking more often about lately), Fairy, Dryad, Siren, living Bug Swarm.
Love all your stories(Slime girl being my favorite). Regarding unpublished stories I remeber you saying what Fairy one is in the same universe as Formicea, Arachne and Slime girl, also remember you mention Sirens being there as well. So I would love to see more of the stories in that world for better worldbuilding.
In that regard, the lich might contribute the most to slime girl.

I think my favourite will still be Eldritch
As mentioned before, I only have two more chapters of Eldritch I can release due to being out of chapters. The next closest to exhaust the backlog would be Arachne.
I'm somewhat challenged to write 3 chapters a week (it works, but sometimes I only get 2 done), so reserves are declining.
Yeah, I like them all, but usually I add to my backlog by writing what I feel like. So there comes a discrepancy in how much there is.
Yes, but I just wanted to point out that even a lot of work is trying to stay active by writing so many different stories. You can have priority in which you want them to be "main", in the others you can leave it with a lower update frequency.
For example, when you released Arachne, being the "newest" one and having the other ones longer, I thought that it would be like one chapter every two weeks or one chapter per month.
You could maybe have an alternating 1 month hiatus on your works.
It could be like; January, Eldritch on hold, February, Slime Girl on hold, March, Formicea on hold, April, Arachne on hold, and then looping back to Eldritch on hold for May.
It won't completely stave off the inevitability of running out of chapters, in one story or the other. But it will slow it down.
Interesting proposal. Though, I don't think that will work. I write quite irregularly on the different stories. At the moment, I'm into writing Formicea, while Slime Girl has quite a good number of chapters in reserve. Don't really feel like holding them back.
I'm sad to say that I've got quite some stuff coming up for me. While I still try to keep it up, I'm afraid I can't write enough and won't be able to release more than 7-8 more chapters on Eldritch before I have to go on a temporary hiatus.
Thanks for the info. I'll have to get my weekly dosis of Eldritch madness from somewhere else then. I heard there is something called "outside world". I'll try that one while you hopefully get your upcoming stuff done nicely and we all can meet again to experience the horrors of non-euclidean shapes

I need to admit, today's chapter of slime girl bit off a big chunk of its predecessor and the following one, becoming a bit of an oversized monstrosity on their cost. Well, nothing to do about it.
A general question now that I have started Formicea as well as Arachne.
I know they are in the same universe as Slime Girl, how are they related to each other in the sense of time and space? I presume they are at least taking place on the same continent at least looking at the similar culture. Are they happening at the same time or in vastly different periods?
Roughly the same time. Not sure if it already came, but there's a line in Slime Girl that Koreso is currently at war.
From the country descriptions, you can tell about the location. Rakis is east of Koreso, Koreso is three times Rakis' size (You got a map of Rakis in chapter 14). Tarsona as a competitor is at least big enough to keep up with Koreso.
The Evergrove is south of Koreso and Rakis. One of the first things you hear in Arachne is that they're in the west of a huge forest famous for its monsters (which one might that be?)
Good to know. Yeah, it was definitly mentioned but I didn't really memorize the names of the countries while reading It and geography didn't really come up often enough. Tho I definitly remembered Rakis as a name. I'm smart like that.

Did you make arachne weekly after just 3 chapters?
Sorry, but I don't have too many of them and can't push out as many as I would like to. Just close to 60k words yet. Those dwindle down faster than I would like it. Don't see another way but being a bit frugal with the releases.
I supose I should ask: which day of the week do you intend to assign Arachne chapter releases to?
So for everyone who's interested. I just released another story. The title is "Arachne". I guess I don't have to be more specific than this. Alternatively, you can look under related stories below Formicea or Slime Girl.
Consider it a Christmas present.
I finally did it. I removed the bulletpoints for everything that isn't a skill name or linking out of slime girl and while I was at it also did thorough editing. God, was that an effort!
Today, through some weird copy error I accidentally publishd a version of the chapter Formicea before I edited it with the help of Saril (many thanks by the way). Just to tell you that it's now a bit different, yet not in a story affecting way.
Uh, I know it's my job to keep on track with this, but does anyone know how the money exchange was in slime girl until now? I noted before they reached the count that it was 7 copper, 9 silver and 1 gold (the last being what they looted from the bounty hunters) but then kinda stopped with the expenses, income list.
Did she bought anything when her party was on a mission in the village?
I'm pretty sure I at least made the count give her some money before the departure. Not sure if there's anything else.
Well, they kept saying they were taking her expenses out of her pay, so I don't think she paid for anything while with the count, and I don't recall her getting any by other means. So 10 gold from the count, possible loot from the encounter while traveling (I'm not sure if they didn't have money or if it was dissolved, currently unspecified), and 1 silver expense at the gate of the city.

All thanks to careful algorithm manipulation and a new reader writing "Thank you" below each single chap in Formicea.
