I personally like transformation stories. That a change happens that the MC can't simply ignore.
Nonetheless, I really wish for the character to still behave like a normal person. If not I ask myself what even is the point of the MC being a former human if they for example just act like any other demon.
Also, I have a preferation for female MCs.
Maybe I just got tired of all those harem protagonists. But even if they're not like this, I find that the stuff that happens has less impact. It's somewhat expected from a male character to fight and survive. I find the emotional turmoil of a girl far more relatable.
What I really dislike is when the girl big plastered on a cover is not the supposed MC but the pale guy in the background of the right corner.

Eldritch is currently on hiatus.
However, you are kinda lucky, as next week, I'll go on a temporary hiatus for Arachne, which opens up capacities. So in two weeks, there'll be new chapters.
I sadly need to announce that after Chapter 48 I'm going on an indefinite hiatus. I assure you that this story isn't going to be abandoned, but I'm simply out of chapters and will need quite some time to write new ones. However, I tried to make Chapter 48 a somewhat satisfying temporary end.
I hope it will console some of you that I'm instead going to post "Eldritch" after that point.

Well, it's mostly a necessity. I am completely out of chapters now. So I'll have to devise a new arc, write enough chapters to have a sufficient backlog again, all of this while juggling the three other stories next to my job. Still, I'll try to get back to Arachne when I can. The story is totally not abandoned. It depends a little on how I'm feeling regarding temporary writing preferences.

Sorry, no. I tried once, but I'm rather incompetent in setting something like this up and maintaining it. Posting the weekly chapters is already the pinnacle of my internet skills.

As I mentioned in the comments below the last chapter, I plan to continue around the start of November (but without making definite promises), but will have to drop Arachne in turn for being out of chapters. It's just a question of the number of stories I can maintain regular output simulataneously, with three being the max.

Yes yes yes finally eldritch your in my opinion your best story is coming back woooo.
As some might know, I initially struggled with calling Neri's (Arachne) home country Ceranis (especially as it lies directly next to Tarsonis). A short time ago I found an old note that reminded me how I initially wanted to call it Cerulia. Now I'm rather torn whether or not I could still rename it at this point.

Thanks. I'll try not to. Just as well started my job after studying and have to balance everything. I'm not even trying to take money for this, as it's a hobby. I think as long as I keep having ideas I have at least something to write about, which means there's no real cause to stop for now.
Especially Eldritch I had for quite some time issues with the development. Especially, how certain arcs would play out. Yet now I figured them mostly out and have some events I'm really looking forward to that might go for quite some time. The only issue I still have is that I have no idea how the damned sports day itself is going to play out.
I understand you.You don't have to rush to release the next chapter. However, promise us readers that you will not overwork yourself beyond your strenght. There is nothing worse than artistic burnout.
What about Eldricht?
I'm seriously working on new chapters and even finished one for the backlog this week. But I fear I'll have to put another of the stories on hiatus (Arachne is currently most likely) to continue Eldritch unimpeded. At the moment I drive myself hard from an average of 3 chapters a week to around 3,5 chapters, to write a bit on Eldritch, but this is really hard to maintain for me.
Sadly I can't release till I have a comfortable backlog again so I can correct possible inconsistencies before release.
i wanted to ask if you could make bigger Formicea chapter ? your arachne is bigger and i love both , but Formicea is so short -.- ...... thx ^^
Ehm, unfortunately, I need to confess that this is only a temporary situation. I try not to get below a minimum average of 1500 words. Aside from this, it depends on the flow of the chapter how long it gets. If you compare the average word count on Formicea and Arachne you will even find that Formicea is even higher on average with 2100 words per chapter to 1900.

Just want to say that I'm a fan of Elderitch and that I literally binged what was available in 2 days. Surprised that it got so many laughs out of me and I'm loving the cast dynamic.
Might be wrong, but I'm kinda sensing a love triangle forming between Iori and her closest two friends (though, she probably doesn't think that possible).
As to the hiatus, not sure whats up but take all the time ya need. We all need a break time to time!
Thank you very much. The hiatus is essentially really just a break. I couldn't keep up with pushing out chapters for 4 stories a week and had to make concessions somewhere, but I absolutely plan on continuing.
