[Liana POV]

BOOOOOOOMMMM!!!!

"Cyan!" (Liana)

As I saw the giant glacier explode I saw Cyan getting knocked out from the sky and started falling...

I clenched my fist and started crouching...

I then turned my head towards where Cyan is falling...

I only have one shot...

"Eli!" (Liana)

I shouted to Eli that was on my hub...

[I know! Status Battle mode deactivate!] (Elizabeth)

[Status Battle mode deactivated]

As that happened the ground below me started lighting up...

Bush!Bush!Bush!...

Blue flames started bursting a little from the bottom of my shoes...

I narrow my eyes and then...

"[Jet]!" (Liana)

BOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!!

I flew high into the sky as I used Jet...

It left a giant crack on the building roof and all the glass in the building scattered as well...

I quickly flew towards where Cyan is and raised my hand to reach out for her...

"Got you!" (Liana)

I grabbed onto her and...

"Woah!?" (Liana)

I was dragged down with her...

It seems like the force of the falling is a little strong...

Not good...

I started hugging her to try to shield her if we reach the ground as we both started falling from the sky...

"[Mana Shield]!" (Liana)

I tried using my mana shield to lower the impact force as well just to be safe...

I started looking around for a place to land...

We're at around 700 feet in the air and dropping fast...

I quickly try to think of a way to fall safely...

Until...

My ears started twitching...

I saw something in the distance...

Step!Step!Step!Step!

What I saw was Mitra's mech running towards a specific place where I was falling below towards the ground...

Is she...

Her mech started crouching and started jumping high into the air and landed on a roof of a small building the jump again to the roof of a medium building and then...

The mech stops and crouches down while its head is looking at me...

300 feet...

200 feet...

100 feet...

Then...

BACHUSSSS!!!

Her mech jumps and opened both of its hands...

Its hands stretch towards us...

The hand managed to grab both of us and the Mana shield I used neglected our fall...

Now all of us are just a couple of feet away from the ground and...

BAANNGGG!! Shhhhhiiiiiiinnnnggggg!!!.....

Her mech's feet landed on the ground and made a loud bang!...

Her mech also started sliding a couple of feet away before stopping on the ground...

"Fuf..." (Mitra)

I heard Mitra sighting as her mech's hand started opening up...

I looked at Cyan that I was now in my hands...

"Zzzzz..." (Cyan)

"Sigh*..." (Liana)

Seems like she was sleeping peacefully in my hands...

[Man... What a ride!] (Elizabeth)

Eli said that to me and I nodded...

I saw the mech's cockpit opening and saw Mitra coming out from there...

"Are you both okay?" (Mitra)

I only smiled at her as she said that...

Pling!pling!pling!pling!...

I slowly looked up into the sky...

And saw a sky full of glittering small light falling slowly into the city before disappearing...

I looked at Cyan in my hands...

"So that's what you look like huh?" (Liana)

This is my first time seeing Cyan in this form...

[I was a little shocked as well when I see her for the first time too! But man what a cute face!] (Elizabeth)

I nodded as Eli said that...

Cyan had an innocent face when she was sleeping...

Kinda jelly about her breas- cough* cough*...

My ears started twitching...

I can hear cheering thorough out the city...

I looked out into the distance...

I can see a lot of enemy mechs and planes started retreating...

I guess the battle is over huh?...

"And with that... Finally, I could sleep a little..." (Liana)

I slowly lay down on the palm of the mech while watching the glittering sky above while still having Cyan on my hands until she woke up...

[Third Person POV]

A couple of days later after the battle of Deren city...

Tak!tak!tak!tak!tak!...

Dririririririririri!...

Construction on Deren city is in progress...

Many cars, trucks, and even mechs are carrying building materials all over the city...

It's evening now and the sun is setting on the horizon...

"Fu...." (Bren)

Bren while holding an empty bottle of water is looking at the construction taking place all over the broken part of the city...

Lisa was walking towards him with water bottles in both hands...

Both of them are at the top of the wall surrounding Deren city...

They are looking at the construction all around the city from there...

Many are also here fixing some stuff that has been damaged throughout the battle...

"Man... I wonder when will it be over?" (Bren)

Bren said that and Lisa answered...

"I think it will be over in about a month or two? That's if you don't count the broken tower in the distance and facilities that were destroyed in the raid while also counting the cost and number of deaths that happened in the battle..." (Lisa)

Bren just sighed as he heard that...

Then he noticed something that's been bugging him...

"Hey... Where did that girl go?" (Bren)

"Girl? Oh... You mean Liana?" (Lisa)

Bren nodded...

"If I remember... She should be- oh! There she is!" (Lisa)

As Lisa was about to say something she saw Lia walking at the edge of the wall while holding the railing...

She was looking at the city below without showing any expression on her face...

Lisa then started calling her...

Lia's ears twitched as she heard her...

She turned her head towards them and smiled...

She then started walking towards where they were...

"How ya been doing today?" (Bren)

"Fine, I guess?" (Liana)

Lia looked at Deren city that was now full of constructions everywhere...

She then started stretching her hand up high...

"Umm... A lot of things happened in just days coming into this city... Amazingly, it's going smoothly after that... I thought there might be more events happening" (Liana)

Lia giggle as she said that...

"Please don't... I don't want anything else happening after that" (Bren)

"Yeah, yeah, I'm just joking" (Liana)

Bren then sighted again...

"It's going to take a while to replenish our supplies" (Lisa)

"Yeah" (Bren)

"Well I guess that's a thing you need to deal with after a battle I guess..." (Liana)

Lia with a cramped face looked at Bren and Lisa...

Lia doesn't have that much of a problem with stocking supplies thanks to Eli checking the supplies almost every time they go on an expedition...

"By the way what about your friends? What are they doing now?" (Bren)

Bren said that to Lia and Lia started putting one of her hands on her chin and started thinking...

"For Mitra... She was now getting flocked by a lot of people thanks to the mech she made... Well, can't blame them for that?... Cyan is with Eli stocking on supplies now... And as for me... I'm free so I am looking around the place to see if there's anything I can loot- Cough* help I guess?" (Liana)

"I see... So... What are you going to do after that?" (Bren)

Lia looked at Bren as he said that...

Then she looked upon the orange sky above...

"I'm planning on going south to find information about the empire..." (Liana)

Bren raises one of his eyebrows as she said that...

Then he smiled...

"The south huh? I heard that there's only sand there all around... Actually, I heard of a place near there that was used to be a research lab that was used by the empire a long time ago" (Bren)

Now it's Lia's turn to raise one of her eyebrows...

"Can you tell me?" (Liana)

Bren nodded and took out his cellphone from his pocket somewhere...

He started typing and then lend his phone to me...

I grabbed it and looked at the place he mark on the phone...

I narrowed my eyes as I looked at the screen...

"This is..." (Liana)

"What I know is that something must have happened there in the past... All of the places there are covered with those things and if anyone got near it they will turn into that and die..." (Bren)

Lia then gave the phone back to Bren...

"Also note... It's very dangerous to go there... Nobody wants to go there even know it's an oasis near that place... But because of the many incidents that happened there, nobody wants to even go near that place... I don't know what you are trying to find about the empire but after helping us a lot I'll just say that" (Bren)

Lia narrow her eyes as Bren said that...

But she then slowly nodded...

"I'll take note of that" (Liana)

As that happened both Bren and Lisa were called by someone from the distance near them...

They both then said goodbye to Lia and then left her there...

Lia started looking at the sky again...

"I guess the destination is set!" (Liana)

Lia looked in the direction where the south should be at...

After that day passed the next day Lia is now at the landing platform at the wall of Deren city...

Lia was about to start going but a small problem happened though...

Cyan is clinging to Lia and won't let go...

Lia have a cramped face as this was happening and Eli was grinning while looking at them from the plane's cockpit...

"Cyan..." (Liana)

"No" (Cyan)

Cyan is not small as she used to be anymore and was now as big as Lia...

Maybe a little bit taller than her...

And Lia was a little embarrassed by her clinging to her in a public place...

Then Eli started talking to her...

[You know what? Why not just let her go with us, Lia?] (Elizabeth)

"B-but" (Liana)

"Please?..." (Cyan)

With puppy dog eyes Cyan looked at Lia...

Punyu~...

An arrow was stuck into Lia's heart as she saw that...

She clenched her hand...

"F-fine! You can come!" (Liana)

"Yey! Thanks big sis Lia!" (Cyan)

With a very happy face, Cyan started jumping as Lia said that...

Lia just sighted...

Well...

Cyan would be quite useful along the journey...

Lia then smiled at Cyan and started petting her head...

Cyan with a bliss look happily let Lia pet her head...

As that was happening Lia also saw Mitra coming towards her...

"What is it? Don't tell me you want to go to?" (Liana)

Mitra shakes her head left and right as Lia said that...

"Sorry, but I got a lot to do from here on and... I can't just let my father do all the work" (Mitra)

Lia smiled at her and nodded...

"Then, I wish you good luck" (Liana)

"You too Lia" (Mitra)

"Bye-bye big sis Mitra!" (Cyan)

Lia and Cyan started boarding the plane while waving goodbye at Mitra from the plane and Mitra was waving goodbye at them from the platform as the plane started going up...

Lia looks one last time at Deren city as the door of the hanger of her plane closes...

And then they are off to the south where their next destination is...
