Li Ming’s expression was a little strange. He was surprised but at the same time felt like he should’ve expected this. He just didn’t know what to feel and it really showed.

Glancing at his expression, Mo Fang couldn’t help but become anxious. This place was supposed to strengthen their feelings, not make trouble again. And right now, his boyfriend’s expression told him that he had to tread carefully to make sure that it wouldn’t go in the wrong direction.

He paused with his fingers still on one of the costumes, his expression becoming a little hesitant. "You don’t mind, do you?"

Li Ming faintly raised his brows at him. "What do you mean?"

"This date …" Mo Fang lowered his head and then reached out, taking Li Ming’s hand. "You know, last week, I couldn’t help but think that having something to remember our dates by would be really nice. And I want to share the things that I love with you. There aren’t that many things that I’m good at. And taking photos is the only one that I am really, really good at.

"So I thought that it would be nice to maybe do it with you. Just that I figured it might not be that special if we just took some everyday pictures like at the beginning of this week so I asked Bro Bian if he would do me a favor. He has a lot of costumes gathered from his shoots and also the fitting sets ready and I just thought that it would be lovely to do. But I would also understand if you don’t like it. It’s not for everyone, after all."

Li Ming realized that his expression must have been a bit off. He hurriedly shook his head and pulled Mo Fang into his arms. "You’re worrying too much. I don’t mind. I’m just … I’m surprised I guess. I didn’t expect this. Not at all.

"I mean I didn’t expect the date you planned last week either but this … I guess I just feel like even though I should have been able to guess, I couldn’t do it. It’s a strange feeling.

"But I do think that the idea is lovely. How did you come up with it?" Saying so, he turned to the side and picked out one of the costumes that was slightly bigger and probably meant for him.

It was actually a historical costume. Nothing too old, just from the early twentieth century. This was definitely the type of thing that you’d put on for some kind of theme party or, well, this kind of themed photoshoot. The idea really was lovely. And he couldn’t help but remember last week when they had gone to that exhibition on fashion.

Just when he had that thought, Mo Fang pulled out the corresponding set for himself and mentioned the very same thing. "Actually, I thought of this when we went to that exhibition last week. I felt that looking at everything together was really fun. And I thought that you would probably look really good in most of the clothes we saw as well." He reached out, and rubbed Li Ming’s chest, giving him a smile. "I can’t wait to see how it looks when you’ve really put it on. Do you need help?"

Li Ming shook his head. "I think I should be able to do that. Do we … just change here?"

Mo Fang nodded, clearly not feeling much about it. Before Li Ming could ask any further, he already started to take off his clothes, throwing them over a chair that was standing at the side, and then put on the costume.

Li Ming watched him with the same wonder that he always felt when he saw Mo Fang change clothes. It was clearly a simple task but it just seemed different when his boyfriend did it.

Maybe it was the way how he made it look so effortless even though he was really quick. Or maybe it was just that seeing Mo Fang slip out of one outfit that made him look great and into another that made him look just as great or even better was just kind of satisfying to look at. He couldn’t really tell himself. But it was one of the things that made him unwilling to look away.

Mo Fang turned around and laughed, walking over to him, and tugging at his clothes. "Are you sure that you don’t need any help? It seems to me that this is taking rather long."

Li Ming’s eyes widened and he hurriedly started to take off his clothes as well. "I’m so sorry. I hope that I’m not wasting too much of your friend’s time."

Mo Fang just waved, not feeling like that idea was worth a second thought. "I’ve known Bro Bian for quite some years already. We work together a lot. When he heard that he could do me a favor, he was all for it.

"Also, he didn’t like Lan Heng. So seeing me together with somebody else is something that he’s really happy about. He’d probably love to take a few photos extra for you. It sure helps that you’re good-looking." He reached up, cupped Li Ming’s cheek, and then kissed the other side before hurriedly pulling back.

"Well, I hope that you’ll like it. Taking photos can be surprisingly exhausting. If you can’t take it anymore, you just have to tell me, alright? It’s supposed to be fun. So I don’t want you to feel like it’s work in the end. Just having a few photos to remember everything by is enough for me."

Li Ming nodded but he didn’t think that it should be that hard. It wasn’t that he was looking down on Mo Fang and his work but it wasn’t like this was an official photoshoot for some kind of customer. As long as they were satisfied, it should be alright. So most likely, it wouldn’t be as exhausting as Mo Fang’s usual shoots were.

He finished putting on his clothes and then followed Mo Fang outside. To be honest, he was quite curious to see just what kind of set that Bro Bian would’ve prepared for this. And yes, he was also curious how this photoshoot would turn out. Right now, he couldn’t imagine it at all.
