Dian could see that the Eight Inner Hidden Gates was recently discovered. Sadly, it was in the early stage and the panel's description was incomplete, meaning that the discovery did not go far.
“As expected, I need to give them some time. And it will probably be important since it is foundational in the Transcendence Tree.”
Foundational meant that the race foundation of transcendental power came from it. It meant that Dian’s human race's foundation of transcendence lay within the Eight Inner Hidden Gates.
Dian could faintly see the line extending from the Eight Inner Hidden Gates to something else. From its looks, it was also a foundational category.
“Human race has two foundational category in the Transcendence Tree?” Dian who had seen the Transcendence Tree was surprised but then felt that it was quite a blessing.
As for the second one, Dian could not see it as it was not discovered yet but steadily leaned toward the discovery. It also meant that there was something that humans needed to discover it.
Having two foundational category in the Transcendent Tree was something that Dian had never seen in the Planet Master Service Center.
“Is it because no one has it or is it because the information is hidden from the fellow Planet Master?” Dian pondered the question and let it be.
Whatever the case, he had benefited from this discovery.
Then Dian started to check what change had occurred the moment he entered the second rank.
The method of the Star Battle did not change. It was still through the portal that appeared in a random location of the planet.
He noticed that the new options were available to him.
It was [Friend List], [Message], and [Forum].
Dian willed it and the [Friend List] opened itself by opening a new window panel. Of course since Dian had never used the option, it was empty.
Dian closed the [Friend List] and opened [Message].
There were several more options within but Dian did not have anyone’s name to send a message to. It could also be used to send messages between friend but Dian also did not have any.
“Ah, I am starting to feel that communication is the key in this Planet Master deal. Is that what this is all about?”
Whatever the case, Dian paid attention to this [Message] option as it had the potential to be important.
He closed the [Message] window panel and opened the [Forum] option.
It was actually the most crowded option that Dian had chosen as numerous titles appeared in the window panel. There were also several reminders for the Planet Master when using the [Forum].
One of them was actually the introductory of the [Forum].
This is the introductory for the [Forum] function. Here, Planet Master can share some trivial information with each other or even the Planet Master Community at large.
First, you can only share trivia here. For something more personal, we have [Message] function so know the difference.
Second, as soon as possible gain access to the Achievement category. That is because that category shows the current achievement your civilization has achieved so far.
Third, this [Forum] is managed by the Universe Council. That is all.
Dian who sat on the chair that he specifically poofed out of existence suddenly frowned. He noticed that the [Forum] was managed by the Universe Council. It meant that everything there was approved by them.
It also meant that any information the Universe Council did not want the Planet Master to know was either hidden or erased altogether.
“I need to be careful when I do something in the [Forum]. But for now, let me surf the information there first. Perhaps there is something that I miss.”
With an optimistic look, Dian started to surf the information in the [Forum]. There was much information but Dian wanted to know a specific thing.
And that was about the specialties of the civilization. There were countless civilizations out there in the universe and Dian knew that he could find something that could be useful for the human race. But he also needed the human race to produce something unique that symbolized them.
So far, his civilization had none. So he was looking for others specialties so that he knew how to spot one when the time came.
His eyes widened as he saw the specialties of various civilizations available in the [Forum]. And that was probably the common one where many Planet Masters knew a lot.
As for the others, more rare, they were probably was restricted to a select few. There was no way such specialties were available on the [Forum].
Dian sighed before he went to the Achievement category. There he saw the achievement of his civilization.
Achievement of Planet Master Dian’s civilization:
-The Fortunate
[This civilization has the streak of luck greatly involved in their development. This achievement has been brought out to light by the Planet Master System so that the civilization becomes more favored in their future development]
-Undead Mastery
[This civilization has the ability to partially harness the Undead Element. Due to this fact, the Planet Master System has noticed this fact and added this to the achievement category.]
Dian had read some topics about the Achievement category. It was the fruit of the effort of the civilization doing something. When the civilization accomplished something, the feat would be recorded in the Achievement category in the [Forum].
It also meant that the Achievement was actually for the public to see. Dian realized this and could not help himself but sigh in resignation. If possible, he wanted to hide this.
Just like a certain saying, ‘Know your enemy and you will win a hundred battles against them.’
His potential enemies could see this and predict the growth of his civilization. But the reverse was also true, Dian could also see his potential opponent’s Achievement and also knew a bit of their growth and characteristics.
“A fair place where both sides are given opportunities…and there is also the issue that the Achievement category is recorded by the Planet Master System…” Dian focused his gaze on the few statements about the Planet Master System.
He had a feeling that the Planet Master System and the Universe Council were connected yet different.
But he shrugged it off. He felt that the matter was too far away for the current him.
So Dian continued his exploration in the [Forum]. Next, he wanted to see some trivia information about the second rank Planet Master so he searched and found some results.
Especially important was that he discovered a post about the spawn rate of the new Planet Master from one of the posts in the [Forum].
It was said that the spawn rate for the new Planet Master had increased some time ago. The important thing to note was that the poster told this while connecting the matter to another matter.
But Dian was not sure whether the post was saying something genuine or not. This was another aspect that made Dian alert. He could not tell whether the post was telling the truth or not since there was no verification.
The only verification Dian could make would be that he knew some things from the Planet Master Service Center where the information was guaranteed to be true.
“So the difference between the Planet Master Service Center and the Forum is this big, like the difference between heaven and earth.” Dian kept reading the post that related to his current situation. Of course, he read it as a reference and did not just accept it as the truth.
For example, there was some information about the quick way to gain energy points that Dian had read. However, he quickly discovered that the method was not feasible at all. It felt like a scheme so Dian quickly skimmed past the information and gained what was the truthfulness of the information.
From that information, Dian found out that the Universe Market was the most suitable place for the transaction of energy points. In fact, the energy points were the currency for the Planet Master to be used for various purposes.
After surfing through the rest of the necessary things he wanted to see in the [Forum], Dian closed the window panel and stood up from his chair.
His appearance was that of a man in his twenties, with a black suit and long black pants. He then called to the other two in the Planet Master space, Leif and Ghylea.
Leif’s appearance was that of a ‘Modern’ dwarf, with a white shirt and grey pants as well as the recently famous beard. Dian knew this since it was the current trend for the dwarves in his civilization.
While Ghylea was wrapping himself in the black robe. Dian could see his appearance as that of a humanoid skeleton with the Undead Fire burning in the eye sockets.
“What caused the Father God to call us?” Leif was the spokesperson.
“The Father God, that is how the human calls me but do you need to call me that too?” Dian protested lightly.
“Well, it is true that to us and by extension the subordinate race, you are our Father God.” Leif said this with a bit of excitement on his face. Ghylea seemed to agree as the Undead Fire inside his eye sockets were burning fiercely.
Dian glanced at them for a moment before he said, “I want you two to tell me about something. It is actually this matter…”
He transmitted the information he had received from the [Forum], including the various trivia and Achievements.
“Hmm, this is available as soon as you have reached the second rank. It also means that the true battle of the Planet Master starts from the second rank forward.” Leif realized an issue and said what was on his mind
“The specialties will be an additional boost to the civilization. I suggest that we take advantage of it.” Ghylea on the other hand took note of the specialties that could be exchanged in the [Forum] and wanted to use it to the benefit of his master.
“I have taken notice of that. But my civilization does not have any specialties yet. Furthermore, my civilization is not strong enough to contend with the other second-rank Planet Master. My civilization has barely started their path in this universe…” Dian stated when he noticed that Leif looked like want to say something.
“But we have at least a specialty. It is not grand but it is a specialty. Father God, please look at this.” Leif swiped his hand and sent the information to Dian directly.
Dian who received it turned serious. He had never expected that humans had produced such a specialty.
[Specialty Name: Malicium
Rank: One
Description: This results from years of research in the Undead Element. The human race has discovered a method to condense and purify the Undead Element and turn it into something different. The product of which is Malicium. It strengthens the Transcendent at the Core Formation Realm and below. This is the specialty of the human race.]
“I see. So they have produced this kind of thing. But the quantity is small so the exchange will be difficult. Furthermore, I need to contact them…” Dian could see that the specialty his human race had developed was leaning toward the product for the Undead Race.
As for contacting the people related to the Malicium, he would do it immediately.
“Okay, as for now the matter is done. Any question?” Dian asked.
“Will this be alright?” Ghylea was the one who gave his concern. Seeing this, Dian also knew what he meant.
“For now, I am relying on this status quo so that the human race develops more and unites once more. Let’s consider doing another Star Battle after that is achieved. After all, our opponent will be merciless and more powerful…”
Dian was looking at a certain person through his Planet Master space. Then he contacted the people from Thebes Kingdom.
As this was the first time the Father God manifested himself, the related people knelt down in reverence. The white cloud that was floating in front of them was the figure they knelt to.
Dian used his power as a Planet Master to manifest himself in front of the researcher of the Thebes Kingdom right in the middle of their laboratory.
“Father God, do you want to take some Malicium that we produced?” one of the researchers was shocked to hear that the Father God needed something from them.
“Yes. Consider it as something that the human civilization can produce specially. With that, the human race can be strengthened.” Dian’s voice was as booming as always so he lowered it. But the people who heard him had to close their ears due to the loud voice.
It was fortunate that they could hear his words despite the difficulties.
After that, they gathered some of the Malicium that they had gathered over the years. It weighed around a ton of weight. This was the portion that they planned to give to the Father God.
Its appearance was actually a large black crystal, that was what Malicium looked like.
“Father God, consider this as an offering to you. Please remember our contribution to the human race.” The researchers said in unison.
“I can consider it. Whatever happens in the future, please help develop the human civilization toward a better place. That is my only wish.” Dian said this as a reminder and the researchers took note of that.
Dian also knew that among the researchers were people from the Father God Congregation. His appearance would probably make them more devoted to the development of the civilization.
With that, Dian waved his cloudy hands as the one-ton Malicium disappeared right in front of the researchers’ eyes.
Reappearing at the Planet Master’s space with the Malicium, Dian could see through the window panel that the Malicium was indeed stored as a specialty of the human race. He could understand why Leif was the one who reported it.
It was developed by the dwarves’ hand. Without their expertise, the specialty would not come to fruition.
“Now, let’s proceed with the exchange.” Dian looked at the exchange category and found a specialty that could help the human to speed up their progress.
The problem Dian had to face in this was actually the willingness of the other Planet Master.
Dian placed the Malicium in the item that would be exchanged. The Malicium that were in the Planet Master’s space was enveloped by a special light.
Dian realized that the exchange item would be treated this way when he was doing the exchange. After a short time, the exchange was successful!
The Malicium that was enveloped by the special light then slowly turned transparent before disappearing. Replacing the Malicium was something else. Dian glanced at the item in question…
[Specialty Name: Etherium
Rank: One
Description: The result of the Elf race condensing sand purifying the ether, creating the Etherium. This thing can be used by any living being as it contains a nourishing ether in such condensed and purified form. Suitable for Rank One Transcendent and below.]
“Strange…why is the exchange done so quickly? Shouldn’t it be longer than this?” Dian had expected that the exchange would be a long process due to the special nature of his specialty. After all, it was formed from the Undead Element which was disliked by the majority of the Planet Masters.
-
In another Planet Master space…
A Planet Master with the appearance of an Elf race was staring at the exchanged specialty that came from another Planet Master.
“Malicium…it is the purified and condensed form of the Undead Element. Normally, it is almost useless since my race is using ether but something has to happen that I need this.” The Planet Master was thinking about the current circumstances of her race.
Currently, she was in the aftermath of the Star Battle with an Undead Planet Master and needed some of the processed product of the Undead Element since her civilization needed it for some important reason.
To accommodate her race, she searched the [Forum] for a specialty that was the processed form of the Undead Element. Sadly, it was harder than she thought since she did not discover anything that could be used until she saw the Malicium.
Her civilization saw some potential of the Undead Element and knew that their path of advancing further was with the development of the Undead Element.
So she decided to exchange the specialty of her race, the Etherium.
She sent the Malicium directly to the civilization on her planet, giving it directly to the royalty there to be a research subject.
“I wonder what is the human race in the description of the Malicium? As far as I know, there is no such race in the universe before.” The Planet Master was curious so she searched the human race in the [Forum] but she got no results.
She furrowed her brow, clearly confused.
“So is the human race a new race? Is that why there is no result?” She was certain that was the case since she did not find anything related to them.
“Since they developed the Undead Element, are they closer to the Undead Race?” she thought like this since the human race developed something that only the Undead Race would develop.
“Whatever it is, I can finally let my civilization develop some more. The Star Battle at the second rank is more terrifying than I thought!” She remembered the Star Battle that her race had gone through and could not help but shiver.
If it were possible, she would not rashly engage her race in a Star Battle so soon. But due to her desire to showcase the strength of the Elf race, she suffered quite badly at the hands of the Undead Planet Master.
Thanks for the chapter
