This is an area where shallow coral reefs grow and spread to color the ocean floor. All kinds of underwater creatures live, play, and breed there.

Like a giant aquarium that has no end, that's the true charm of the underwater world. Sora also went to the largest aquarium in Okinawa during a family vacation, but seeing a natural habitat was more impressive than a creation made by human hands. It's unimaginable that this is the world of Tensura.

‘Perhaps as expected, this is ‘another world’ developed based on the setting of the Tensura anime’

It is indeed impossible for the world in which the anime is set to exist. Such worlds usually have many loopholes in natural laws, making them flawed or imperfect worlds. It can't be helped, humans can't be able to create something perfect when humans themselves are not perfect creatures.

So there must be something higher, a God-level being who uses the setting of the anime world as a basis for creating a world of his own creation.

It's just that Sora didn't expect that a god would create a world based on anime. Whether it was just because The God was lazy or eccentric, Sora didn't know.

While emphasizing God's lack of creativity (intentionally sarcastic), Sora observes the underwater world that stretches out in front of her.

As expected Sora has been reborn into this world, but not as a human, but as one of the marine life, which is perhaps too common to be found here.

That's right, Sora has become a baby fish.

A species of fish that does not have any special features, which most likely has a high birth rate. The proof is that there are many potential Sora siblings spread out under her.

Behind a gap in the coral reef where Sora was hatched, there were lots of red grains with white dots gathered together. Sora managed to transform from a round form into a small fish earlier than her siblings.

Small fish that don't even reach the size of an average baby's thumb. Its body was slender and plain colored, or rather close to transparent, and it had two pairs of wide fins that resembled wings. It still looks very small when viewed normally, but if it is related to species on earth, this fish is more similar to a species of flying fish.

‘Maybe as a consideration due to the acquisition of gravity manipulation skills, Sora becomes similar to a flying fish?’

That might be true, at the time Sora was freefalling, the [Voice of The World] babbled something about gaining gravity manipulation, and then it said Sora would be created a body capable of breathing and swimming in water. From there it was clear that an aquatic creature was the most likely candidate, it was just unknown what species it would become. In another world, it is certain that most of the species there will be different from those on earth.

Sora hopes to become a figure who at least has a humanoid body, but as if abused, she only becomes a common fish, a species similar to flying fish.

‘But yeah, the ocean is a place that is rarely explored in anime. The merfolk race also most likely does not exist. So fish are a natural candidate, right? But maybe something could happen. Just look at the novels, many monsters turn into humanoids when they evolve. There is a possibility that a humanoid form can be achieved if Sora evolves. The birth of the merfolk race is not impossible.’

Because Sora is already used to the human body, of course, there will be discomfort if the body is suddenly reduced to a simpler one and with significant differences in work functions.

When breathing, it feels strange to inhale water rather than air, and when moving there is clumsiness in using the fins and tail.

But after a while, by relying on something like, maybe instinct, or perhaps an intrinsic skill that was already a racial trait of fish, something like that taught Sora how to utilize every part of her new body.

Apart from that, water and gravity manipulation skills also provide an understanding of how to manipulate water flow and the law of gravity.

In this world, skills are like knowledge or a technique that is forcibly implanted into the soul or body of a living creature when someone acquires it.

Sora couldn't help but understand how to manipulate water and gravity even though modern knowledge couldn't explain it.

In this world there is a kind of energy source called magicules which flows freely to form supernatural phenomena, stored as magical objects, or as life forms such as monsters. Skill is also something formed by magicules. When power or mastery over an art along with one's desires are in harmony, it will be recognized by the world and the magicules in one's body are consumed to give birth to a skill.

With the acquisition of skills, living creatures can disrupt the material or spiritual world to create supernatural phenomena or magic.

Sora did too. She used water manipulation skills to make the water in front of her form a vortex like a ball, a sword, and even create a pseudo-current like a snake.

As said before, Sora was the first to hatch from zero.

The rest of her siblings are currently still in the form of small grains piled up and scattered to fill the gaps in the coral reef that is their nest.

They were all still sleeping comfortably in the pouch and didn't seem ready to hatch.

When Sora hatched early, she was also a little worried about whether she was born too early or not. Because if she hatches prematurely, there is a possibility that her body is premature.

But that doesn't seem to be the case. Sora's new body is just ready to go into the outside world. Apparently, Sora's soul, which has quite a lot of magical power, makes her new body develop faster. As a result, Sora was able to hatch faster than normal in a healthy condition without any signs of physical defects or prematurity.

And now that Sora had been out for a few hours and getting used to her new body, it looked like another egg was about to hatch.

The eggs that were about to hatch were around the remains of Sora's egg fragments, the fetus was starting to show movement to hatch.

Most likely, it happened due to Sora's uncontrolled release of magic energy, which spread out and was then absorbed into the eggs around Sora. As a result, the closer the egg is to Sora's former eggshell, the faster the egg will hatch.

Sora observed that, but she was not interested in the activity of hatching an egg. But she thought of her own idea.

Unique Skills, like that name, offer their user access to a unique power different from that of ordinary magic or skills. Coming to this world, Sora received three unique skills.

The first, which appeared by itself, was [Alter Ego]. This skill gives rise to other thoughts, consciousness, or ego within Sora. Apart from that, this skill is useful for helping Sora's thinking operations in analyzing or doing double-tasking. This is because the skill includes thought acceleration, parallel calculation, and chant annulment.

The second is [Ghoster]. More like a soul wanderer, this skill allows Sora to expel her spiritual form from the material body and then attack other people's minds, souls, or consciousness. It also allows Sora to simply infiltrate other people's consciousness and take over it. The subskills that include these skills are mind manipulation, soul wanderer, and soul eater.

And the third is [Heir]. A skill that allows Sora to gain information, knowledge, or recover magic power from targets she devours, defeats, or conquers. Moreover, with the [Ghoster] skill, if the target's soul is successfully mastered and the body is taken over, Sora can even inherit the entire identity of the body's owner. That includes the skills and memories that the body's owner has.

According to Sora's understanding, if she applied the [Ghoster] skill, to move Aoi's consciousness, and then transferred it to the fish body that had been inherited by the [Heir] skill, then Aoi would most likely have her own body.
