Upon seeing Vlad and Thompson, the Natalia on top yelled:

“You two help me. I’ve got this imposter under control”.

“Vla- she, she is a-” the other Natalia said with great struggle.

“Ugh, boy. This is making my head spinny” said Thompson.

“Wowow, hold it you two” said Vlad and arrived next to them.

“Vlad, I’m the real one. No matter how much I squeeze this imposter is not going to lose its form” said the victorious Natalia.

“Do not harm her anymore. I still have a lot of doubt about who is who. So umm. I’ll ask you a question instead. Whoever is able to answer is the real one. Now-“

Natalia lost patience and aimed her hand at Vlad’s abdomen. Her arm stretched into an ice spear and stabbed through Vlad's body.

“Or that can work too, I guess…owww” mumbled Vlad.

The faker pulled its ice hand out of his body and jumped backward. As soon as it landed on the ground it started to melt and merge into the floor starting from its legs.

“Serpent's strike”

The blazing snake speeded towards the faker and managed to hit its head before it fully dived into the floor. The faker cried in pain in Natalia’s voice and drowned into the floor completely.

“I-is it over?” asked Natalia with a pant.

“Blah. I hope so” said Thompson.

Vlad surveyed his surroundings and soon his eyes widened and he cried:

“Thompson, watch out!”

Before Thompson could even turn around, an ice beast with a mouser’s head wrapped its cold arms around Thompson’s chest as well as managed to lock his legs together with the extended part that came out of its legs.

“Ugghhh, bloody hell”

Vlad ran towards them, but he was not fast enough to reach them before the beast slipped into the floor along with Thompson. Only his sword was left on the ground.

“Shit” cursed Vlad but he remembered not to repeat the same mistake again and ran towards Natalia and helped her get up.

Meanwhile, Thompson was plunged out of a wall in an unknown part of the maze and fell on the cold icy floor. The beast emerged out of the wall after him. Thompson crawled away but the beast stretched both of its arms into spears and stabbed his chest with them. Thompson screamed in horror.

Remembering that he has a little surprise left with him, Thompson dipped his hand into his bag and immediately threw one paper bomb that he somehow managed to save. The beast turned around to defend its face but the explosion still was strong enough to make the beast yell with agony upon blowing up on the beast's back. Using the chance Thompson ran away as fast as he could. He turned around the corner only to be greeted with a dead end.

“This is blasphemous. Nooooo”

He ran towards the wall at the end and slammed it with his fists. There wasn’t anything else he could do. He only ever used one sword. And it was left in the wide area they had previously been in.

How foolish was I? What kind of buffoon has only one sword!? Not to mention all my spells are sword related too. ARGHHHH

Hearing the ghastly voice of the beast he turned around. Staring at Thompson with two bloody eyes, the beast walked firmly towards him. But facing the fear of death and annihilation a thought crossed his mind.

Bah, what are you thinking? You know precisely why you only had one sword. It’s cause a true swordsman never loses his sword. And if he loses it, he must have the will to fight without one. That is it!

Thompson gave a thunderous laugh and grinned.

“Ho ho. You’ve given me quite the trouble. But let me make it clear. An ice cube could never corner a lion. Let me show you the true power of THOMPSON WATSON”.

He jumped into the air, straightened his knees for a flying kick but the ice beast’s stretching spear arms managed to connect with his chest first and he fell on the ground.

“N-noooo. Please don’t. Mamaaaaa”

When the beast raised both of its hands for a deadly slice attack it was hit on the back with triplet orbs. The explosion was quite strong. The beast cried in pain and fell to the floor. Thompson quickly jumped up and ran around it. The beast did not move and did not merge into the floor again. It was completely still now.

“Tch, that ought to do it” said Kenji from above the ice walls.

“Hey, how did you get up there?” asked Thompson.

“Assembly summoned myself unto the walls”

“Ehh?”

Thompson looked at Kenji with confusion.

“Look I’ll explain more clearly this time. That ice beast grabbed me from behind, melted into the floor with me and threw me out in an unknown part of the maze. I put up a strong fight so it merged into the wall again and disappeared. But I had no idea what to do and where to go. Then I had an idea. I wrapped my sai with the assembly seal, threw my sai into the air and yelled assembly summon, Kenji. Then I teleported to the air and fell down. Luckily, I managed to grab the wall before I fell down. My mask cracked because of it, tho” relayed Kenji from above the walls.

“Hey, stop mumbling to yourself up there. I didn’t understand a single thing. Could you get down here and explain?”.

Kenji bit his lips and frowned behind his mask.

“I’ll go around the maze, find Natalia and Vlad and tell them what happened”

After saying those words Kenji was off. Thompson probably did not hear the words. But he did not bother to say that. Kenji ran above the walls and found Natalia and Vlad within a short span of time. Then surveying his surroundings, he managed to find a path that connected both Thompson and the other two. It wasn’t long before he guided Thompson to where Natalia and Vlad were. And Kenji ran along the maze walls and found a path for them to get out of the maze as fast as possible.

When they were out Kenji jumped off of the wall, stumbled forward and almost fell to the ground. The impact of the fall was enough to make half of his mask fall on the ground. When he looked up, the three of them gazed at him with a bit of concern. Kenji grabbed his face in panic and turned around. Vlad’s eyes narrowed and he frowned but Thompson sounded a bit concerned.

“Hey, what’s wrong? Are you okay, lad?”

“Yeah, I’m fine. It’s just- Could you get the other piece of my mask?” asked Kenji.

The enmity on Vlad’s face disappeared and he kindly said:

“Forget about the mask. If it falls it falls. Why don’t you just show us your face? There didn’t seem to be any ugly scars as you have said. You look absolutely fantastic”.

Kenji let out a sigh, turned around and threw away the leftover part of his mask.

“Yeah, you look fine. Although the upper part of your face is whiter. But that itself is from the mask, right?” asked Thompson.

“Y-yeah”

“Yes. That was a cute gettup, Kenji. Or should I say Kentaro Satsuki?” said Vlad with a devilish grin.

As soon as Kenji heard the name his eyes widened and he walked backward.

“Kentaro Satsuki? Hmm. Is that your real name, Kenji?” asked Thompson cluelessly.

“You’re that serial killer, right? The one who targets the higher officials of business corporations?” said Vlad confidently.

Kenji’s whole body shook and he stepped back. Natalia looked at Kenji with a gasp. Thompson too was immensely surprised and looked at both of them with bulging eyes.
