Meanwhile somewhere else just before the Demigoddess of Ether woke up.
‘She’s so cute! Even if she’s not actually my child and looks like she came from that vixen incubus bastard, I just want to pamper her! Ah, she chose the forest start. Wait, forest start? Oh no!’
After some deep breaths and slowing down and thinking a bit, she continued.
‘Wait, what if I send her another message. Ah, what if I make her underage, so she gets dependent on me? I don’t want to lose her, after all. Ah, but I forgot to tell her about buying Clear-headed! Hopefully she will be able to deal with that vixen incubus of a nuisance for me.’
Before she can panic again though, she has a brilliant idea.
‘Ahh! No, wait I can just put in her Notes section. Pheww… Hmm, what’s this? Ah, she just destroyed the wrong adventure card, that’s fine. Alright, that was enough excitement for today. Let’s go back to regular work.’
On the flip-side, Aeliana is about to lose her composure because of Aetheria.

10 MILLION HP? 4 BILLION ETHER? You also forgot to give me Message mom. Well, let’s see if I can buy that and Clear-headed then. I focus on the ability in my Inspect window which led me to a big list of abilities sorted by cost.
Apparently, both Message and Clear-headed costs 10 points. I also checked out what each does.

Send message to any user over any distance via the message system. Bigger distance and longer message results in more ether cost. 10 Ether for 1 du for 100 words. If user is Demigod, Demigoddess, God, or Goddess automatically upgrades to [Divine Message]. |

Same as [Message], but also allows attachments of items, traits, skills, quests, and whatever else it will support in the future. They’re also prioritised in delivery. |

Increased resistance to all types of mind-altering effects. |
Okay, both of these seem helpful, though who knows how attaching quests and such to messages will work with me as just only a demigoddess. Let’s buy those and then find a slime. I need to stand up, first. Whoa, my balance is off. I need to get used to being shorter, first.
Walking around the forest, I feel something sticky on my feet. Ah, a slime! Icky! I wail my legs around to shake it off, but looks like I flung it into the ground so hard, it seemed to live no more.
During this, I haven’t even noticed the two windows.

There are two ways to cast a spell, manually or by using a macro. Using macros are also known as named spells. At level 1, you can only have 1 macro. To cast a spell manually, you have to think and speak of the spell components through one-by-one. To cast a simple magic ball, use the following sequence: [Magic Begin] [Sphere] [On Update] [Move Forward 1] [Magic End]. To record it as a macro, replace [Magic Start] with [Magic Name] [Name of your spell]. To cast a macro spell, you can use [Name of your spell]. Finding the components, and figuring out the meaning behind the gibberish is to be Mage, adventurer. If you would already know them, you would be a god in this world. |
Of course, magic had to be programming, just my luck. And it’s so mouthful! No wonder people create macros for this! You would need to be a rap god to use it otherwise! Still, it’s funny that I already meet half the requirements for being a god. I guess better to pretend I don’t know what they mean.
After being done with my slight amusement, I decided to start looking for a target practice, when I noticed a second slime going past me. They really blend in with the grass, no wonder this world is considered more difficult. Let’s see what was it… [Magic Start] [Sphere] [On Update] [Move Forward 1] [Magic End].
A white sphere, similar to a bullet in a bullet hell game, appeared and moved at a moderate speed. When making contact with the slime it disappears from existence and I was awarded with another pop-up for a battle log, confirming my second kill of a slime.
I should probably check the Ether cost of a spell, before I faint or something. [Divine Inspect] [Target: Self]

Not that much. A powerful, magical little girl using magic bullets to battle. This certainly sounds familiar. And I even get to name my attacks.
‘She’s so cute! Even if she’s not actually my child child
Extra child.
Thank you, it has been fixed!
This godness, I feel like I can relate to her. This mc makes me wanna to care about her like a daughter!
Thanks for the chapter. Why does the goddess think she destroyed the wrong card. It seems to me that destroying the one showing her as unnamed was the correct choice. Gonna have to reread that to see what I missed.
'Wrong card' as in 'had the wrong data'. Not in the 'wrong one to destroy'. Sorry, if that was a bit misleading.
Thanks for the chapter~.
The Themed bar sounds interesting, and hope you didn't over cap on potions! Morning potion sickness can be a bit*h I hear~.
Yeah, it was fun and thankfully I didn't have any potion sickness, but I did sleep through the morning.
Nice!
