While having a stroll through the forest, because it had dawned on me that I have no idea which direction to go, I bumped into some slimes as well. I even remembered to inspect one of them!

A good kick from me can overkill a slime. Good to know, probably shouldn’t kick people out of anger. Or punch, probably. How much does a flinch do?

You flinch the slime for 8 damage. Slime misses you. You punch the slime for 80 damage. Quest: First Blood updated. |
Divine Inspect: Comparing Return Crystal and Phoenix Feather |

Name: Return Crystal |

Name: Phoenix Feather |
How annoyingly tantalising that Phoenix Do- I mean feather is. Shame that from a pure value standpoint, I will get more from the Return Crystal, especially right now. Also, I can’t help but shake off the unease of seeing phoenix as race being the same red as me, while a goddess is purple, and a slime is blue. Well, hopefully I don’t have to fight one.
‘[Return Crystal] x1 obtained.’
‘You have new mail!’
Right, something about class and racial skill unlocked. Wasn’t the skill with divine in it supposed to be racial skills? Eh, whatever. I guess inspect myself?

Did, did divine inspect just get an upgrade? Oh, a message from my adoptive mother.

From: Aetheria, Goddess of Ether Hello everyone! The very awaited feature of collapsible blocks have been rolled out! Reminder, only you remember how it was before, for mortals they will just remember as if this is how it always has been. Best Regards, |
Yes, it has, just not how I envisioned it. Well, best get to choosing that one class.

If the order of colours is the same as at races, then its purple colour means mascot is surprisingly an extremely dangerous class. The other two seem quite dangerous as well from the red colour, but sound surprisingly similar. Well, with my frame I would prefer if I can get others to fight for me instead of me having to do it, so mascot it is!
‘Your relationship with the gods decreased due to your theological sin of idolatry. Dodged due to being a demigoddess.’
Oh, that kind of idolatry. Suddenly, I have a sense of foreboding. What even are the skills I got?
Divine Inspect: Comparing Star Prism and Idolatry |
[Close] |
Name: Star Prism Description: Use the power collected from your followers, a.k.a. fame, and create a devastating beam that deals damage based on the number of fame used. The beam also stuns and blinds the targets. Additionally, heal nearby allies based on the number of your followers. The heal pulses from you every 3 time-units 10 times. |
|
Name: Idolatry Description: Theological Sin. Gives you an instinctual need to increase the number of followers. Gain fame over time. Maximum fame is your number of followers. Spend fame on other skills. Allows you to send Message to your followers in a group. Allows you to manipulate nearby followers to do your bidding. Allows for the sacrifice of your followers to gain ether for yourself. Affects other skills and traits. |
Uh, I guess the original plan of laying low is out, isn’t it? I’m scared to check, but let’s see the new trait.
Divine Inspect: Adorabilissimus |
[Close] |
Name: Adorabilissimus Description: You're so adorable, that other can't help but praise you like some sort of god. Those that do not have the clear-headed trait will do the following: Pitiful races will not attack on sight. Weak races will bow down before you, obey your command, and automatically become your followers. Moderate races will fawn over you and become your followers automatically. Strong races will find you extremely cute. Powerful races will help you if asked nicely. Obscene races have clear-headed by default. |
Yup, completely out. I let out a sigh. Time to use that return crystal before I amass a goblin army or something. Before that however, I should probably create some kind of disguised profile.
After mocking about it for a good while, I have landed on something that seems to work.

I will just have to say I got the mind and intelligence boost from quests. I even could give quests now to cover up, but it would say my name. I can change my name though, isn’t that what fey is about anyway? Uhh… Kiyomi will work fine then.
After that final change and using the crystal, my vision fades black and when I return to my senses all I see is pure white.
Thanks for the chapter~!♥
