Once the blinding light faded, I surprisingly arrive at a ruined shrine. Looking around the shrine, it seems to worships a goddess other than my mother, as the sigils adorning the temple and the one given me is different. Mine had a staff on it, the magical kind, while the shrine had branch as its sigil.

Taking to examining the statue in the middle of the shrine, I see the goddess with long hair cascading down on her back in waves, the hair made out of stone adorned with interlocking flowers of various hues creating a crown. Her eyes are made of gold, or would have been if it hasn’t been stolen, only some scrapes remaining. She is wearing a gown with patterns of flowers, petals, and leaves. A belt made out of vines around her waist accentuating her figure, with pouches attached to it with symbol of a flower. It seems for a long time it has been only storing dust. The stomach of her statue is carved out, a candle holder in the middle and the area charred.

Deciding on that lingering any longer won’t do any good, I go down the stairs to what seems to be some sort of catacombs. However the reception seems to have lost some weight, they are skeletons.

As you would guess, they were holding a staff and sword respectively. They would have posed slightly more challenge given that I couldn’t just one-hit them with a single kick. Except, they just bow down before. Seriously this class is going to spell trouble for me.

The downside of this is, I can’t gain experience points from them, unless I want to kill my followers, which don’t sound too good.

A cave bat? It’s an enemy? Could have fooled me. Turning the corner, the only thing I can hear is ‘Aww! So adorable!’ before being tackled by a middle-aged woman.

Being hit by complete surprise, the only thing I could muster is cute ‘Kyaa!’.

‘Hello, cutie! How can I help you?’ the cultist woman asked me.

‘Umm, if you could get off me and take me to your leader, that would be great.’ I replied unsure of the situation and how effective the passive skill is.

‘Yes, that can be arranged for a cutie, like you.’  was the reply with a smirk that might have had the opposite effect the woman wanted.

Being escorted through the catacombs by an entourage of dark robed people and skeletons and bats is quite the experience I might say. Reaching the final, or some might say boss room, I find the leader has just finished the incantation to summon a succubus.

The succubus is on the complete opposite end of femininity than me. She is taller than any of us, sexier and more voluptuous than any of the woman here, wearing more revealing clothing than any of us here. Even her face is the elegant beauty kind. Unfortunately for the succubus, fluffy cuteness prevails over that kind when it comes to crowd control. Even she had to hold herself back from the look on her face!

‘What is this adorable creature?’ the succubus screamed out.

‘Will you help me learn magic?’ I asked the succubus tilting my head.

‘I get to spend more time with you sweetie? Oh, a thousand times, yes!’

Ugh, I still need to go to an adventurer guild? ‘Hey, do you know how to turn off my cuteness, if I head into town? It would be a headache if I would suddenly be praised like a goddess, everywhere I go.’ I asked the succubus in earnest.

‘Hmm... Passives can’t be turned off, so your best bet would be invisibility or use a proxy, clone or avatar, perhaps?’

‘Aahhh… Wait, didn’t I have Invisibility from being Fey?’

‘Ah, I did!’ Thinking about it, I use it and see myself become translucent.

‘Not going to work, I’m afraid.’ said the succubus in a sad tone.

‘Noo!’ I cried out in disbelief.

I decide to take a look at upgrading invisibility, it was 5 ability points. The end result was better, now I was completely invisible, but invisibility-busting abilities would catch me immediately. At which point, I guess I can just let my passive do their thing?

Using this newfound power and asking where the closest town, I headed there to complete the quest. While it was a walk in a park to get there, the town itself posed quite the trouble. It was veiled in an invisibility-busting magical dome! Oh Mother, why didn’t you warn me to never take this class?!

Actually, now that I’m thinking about it, can’t I just Divine Message her? Thinking about it, I have decided to draft up that message…

Apparently, I didn’t have to wait for long to receive an answer.

Well, I didn’t expect to get disowned already. I also thought it said it had no effect, but clearly it did? Or would I have been smitten on the spot, otherwise? Ugh, deciding to not think about it, I head back to the yet another mother figure in my life. I hope this doesn’t become a pattern.

Aaahhh... Finally got another chapter done. Turns out by taking driving lesson, I'm way too busy. I only got enough time by catching a cold and getting a week to work remote. >.< I think I will be putting the series on Hiatus until I have plenty of free time.
