"I'm sorry, but you're too dangerous, we can't risk it anymore.
But don't worry, we found a way to end it. This will be the last time.
Goodbye."
Someone says in a solemn, almost sad voice, as you hear a door close and lock.

Still groggy, you wake up, look around.
You're in a perfectly cubic room, white walls, cold air.
A sense of cleanliness, broken only by the metal door ahead of you.
That one is more like a solitary prison door, all solid except for a small square of grates at face-height.

You stretch, stand and knock on the wall. So much for that.
They're metal as well, just as fortified as that door. Maybe more.
Suddenly, the air starts to feel weird, as if it were charged.
You feel a taste of iron in your mouth. Something is wrong.

You remember the voice. Would it end? Would this be the last time?
But what's ending? And what's happening for the last time?
That goodbye didn't sound very cheerful, or calm for that matter.
What will you do?

  1. >Panic.<
  2. Wait and see.

What will you do?
You're in a small room, with metal walls and a locked, reinforced door.
There's nothing to do, nowhere to go, no one to help you.
Or is there?

You think about screaming for help, but before you do, you think again.
You're locked. Pretty thoroughly, at that.
Whoever did that certainly won't let you stay unguarded.
Besides, you don't even know if there's anyone in here aside from that person.

And that person...
They said they'd end things. That it'd be the last time.
Wait, does that mean they're going to kill you?
Are you going to die in here?

Oh no, you think, I'm definitely going to die now,
as your pulse quickens and your mouth gets dry.
You start pacing around, looking everywhere,
but all is the same metallic white.

Your breath gets ragged, and you start to panic.
Your throat is full of of slime,
you can't get rid of that iron taste,
you've got chills running through your whole body.

Wait, is the air getting worse?
Is it just you going crazy or is something weird really happening?
Does it even matter anymore, do you even know which is worse?
Maybe it's better if you just give in.

Such thoughts creep into your mind, leaving you lightheaded and weak.
Before long, you trip and fall.
Maybe you hit your head, you can't even feel your body anymore.
And then, your vision starts to darken...

Announcement
Hi there, everyone! Here's hoping you all enjoy this tale ^^

Anyway, an important note: as I write this story, I'm posting it on my Discord and letting people choose where it goes, kinda like a multiplayer visual novel. This also means my Discord will be updated (slightly) earlier. (I'll probably wait 'till there's enough content to make a chapter before posting here)

If you enjoyed the story and want to help choose where it goes next, join our server, and vote on what Nona does:
